hilarious this guy is getting this much hype. |
Re: 2012 redskins
I would have crapped on this comment two years ago, but watching Mike and Kyle work with these quarterbacks, I tend to think you're right. Campbell wouldn't have improved under Kyle Shanahan the way he improved under Hue Jackson. He would have just remained frustrating and have lost playing time to Rex Grossman.
Which, of course, would have been a way better course of action than we've actually gone.
Watching Campbell twice play before he went down, nothing from his performances I witnessed said he had gotten better from a average-below average QB. Hue done a decent job in a fairly poor AFC west, but I didnt expect a step back this year. Raiders always have underrated talent on their teams, which was a nice place for JC to land. I actually think JC will have a fair amount of suitors this offseason, a couple in starters situations, a couple in back up situations. |

wow...will he be turning 31 in Jacksonville or Kansas City next year? |

Where does he end up? I just think those 2 spots will see some serious regime change...Gabbert not guaranteed a thing, with serious change and his performance this year...well its gonna add more pressure to his starting situation. KC, got to see JC...Cassel was a predictable flop, with their WRs...bigger arm is needed. All a guess......where you think he pops up? He could come back to Raiders |

I think Denver might offer him. The Jets maybe. Cleveland maybe.
If he signs as a backup, I think Detroit is the best situation for him. Even better than Oakland. |

I feel like some desperate team will probably offer him starters money, though I doubt the opportunity for him to succeed will be as nicely set up as it was in Oakland. Ah well, people die sometimes. Speaking of that, I wonder how he would be perceived here if Sean hadn't passed. Maybe the same, maybe not. |
Re: 2012 redskins
If the Redskins can't land Andrew Luck or RG3 in the draft, where do they look then? Free agency? Is Matt Flynn really the answer? Although Flynn is supposed to be the best QB free agent, he's seen limited action. He really hasn't played a lot because he's a back up. Would anyone here approve of Mike Shanahan bringing Jason Campbell back? Campbell, although he has tons of baggage, would be better than Grossman or Beck. Campbell would be a upgrade over both of those bums.

If this scenario really happens, then I would draft Foles or Cousins and Kellen Moore. If the "Dirty Sanchez" is available, I would try to trade for him, however I would not give up more than a 3rd rounder. I firmly believe he could be a much better QB with a good OC like KS. |
Re: 2012 redskins
Save the picks....Sign Flynn!!!!

By the way, Willie Smith played terrible today.

Willie Smith did give up a sack, several pressures, and had some struggles in the run game. Smith proved he was human today. |
