100 block S. Broadway, Sunday, Aug. 7, 12:12 a.m.: A woman told police that a man she didn’t know bought her a case of beer for her birthday. When she tried to go back into a bar he got angry and hit her over the head with two of the beer bottles, causing cuts to her face and head.[/quote]
