@AdamSchefter
Eagles and Jalen Hurts reached agreement on a five-year, $255 million extension, including $179.304 million guaranteed, per source. Hurts becomes the highest-paid player in NFL history in a deal negotiated by Nicole Lynn of Klutch Sports Group and Eagles’ GM Howie Roseman. |
Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread
Crazy how far Hurts has come. It was universally mocked when the Eagles took him. In all of our faces. Good for him. Seems like a really good dude and he balled out.

Lamar's foolishness is not to hire an agent. |

Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread
Lions have already released both their players suspended indefinitely…Toney probably on his way out as well
|
Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread
Sources: NFL suspended 5 players, including #Lions WR Jameson Williams, for violations of NFL gambling policy. #Lions’ CJ Moore & Quintez Cephus, plus #Commanders' Shaka Toney, are suspended indefinitely (at least 1 year). Williams & DET’s Stanley Berryhill are suspended 6 games.

Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread
Ron took Dotson over Williams and it was a GREAT decision
|
Re: Around the NFL - 2023 Offseason Thread
Toney is expendable. Lions have a more miserable franchise than probably anyone all things considered. Just so crazy that it would be Detroit who loses a bunch of players. These guys are so stupid it hurts.

@AdamSchefter Trade compensation, per sources: Jets get: 🏈Aaron Rodgers, pick No. 15, a 2023 5th-rd pick (No. 170). Packers get: 🏈Pick No. 13, a 2023 2nd-rd pick (No. 42), a 6th-rd pick (No. 207), a conditional 2024 2nd-rd pick that becomes a 1st if Rodgers plays 65 percent of the plays. |

I like the trade for the Packers. It was time to move on. That is some good compensation. Curious to see if they go QB at No. 13 if one of the big 4 falls. |
