Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread
Case was bad tonight.
Scherff was awful. Moses was not good enough. Lack of communication on the defense continues to be a liability. Going for two at 28-9 was idiotic. 24 points off turnovers...there's just no way to recover from that. The overwhelming and warranted disrespect this franchise gets nationally is glaring. I haven't been one of the many calling for change, but I think change is necessary, and it probably has to be drastic and purposeful. I don't know what that change will be, but here's some ideas: B Allen - gone J Gruden - gone G Manusky - gone K Smith = new GM K O'Connell = new HC R Horton = interim DC The problem is, any big change would be admitting failure, so I don't expect any changes. |
Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread
If there are not major changes within the next day or so, I may be done. After being a fan since 1973. Not kidding. Life is too short to be this miserable 16/52 weeks per year. And it won’t get better. Not with an owner too dumb or stubborn to hire competent football people. And as he is my age, he may own the team for the rest of my life. And that thought as much as anything suggests it may be time to move on. Nothing to see here. Totally depressed.

And they misspelled London Fletcher’s name on the scoreboard when inducting him to the ring of honor. This franchise does nothing well. Nothing.

Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread
Is Brandon playing like shit to spite us? Or does he just suck now?
I ain't giving him jack shit now, go chase your money. Don't need to pay him 15 million any more. |
Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread
Moses and BS should be embarrassed of themselves that they are the problem on the line.

Dan will never sell the team unless fans literally never come back.

This is what he should have done instead of coaching again. I have no doubt he would've turned the organization around from the top and that's exactly what the organization needs, we all know that. But with losing JD, who was running the Nascar organization, I can't imagine he'd want anything like that at this point in his life. |
Re: Skin the Bears Game Thread
Spoke with Bruce Gradkowski this morning about Haskins and he said "Jay is very picky about his QBs and if they aren't 100% comfortable with his play calling , he won't play the youngster anytime soon"
Bruce played under Jay in 2011. |

But they're not. I've watched every Redskins home game that are available where I live. Thus far, seen all home games. Skins fans do not show up. They sell their tickets to the visiting teams fans. The crowds for Dallas far exceeded the Redskins fans at FedEx in week 2. All I heard and saw last night was chants for "Lets go Bears". The halftime break, when they were reporting from the stadium, the MNF crew was backed by nothing but Bears jerseys, tee shirts and fans, still chanting. |
