Re: NFL Draft Thread
Anyone know why we don't seem to do much initially in the UDFA market or do they just keep quiet on signings? No word of any post draft signings...
They've done a number of signings already. I think I saw Nicki J. tweet about a few.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
Meh draft. Hope it works out but I’m a little down on the guys we got.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
So looks like the consensus from the draft pundits is not a good draft for the Redskins. Some give them average grades/assessments, but more range in the below average to awful.

Re: NFL Draft Thread
I don't worry about media grades the day after the draft. What counts is when the games are played

Re: NFL Draft Thread
I have seen lots of As and Bs for the draft. Grades are going to be all over the place, including here.
They drafted Secondary and Offensive Line with the first four picks, then grabbed some depth at DE and RB. I'm not overly excited about any of the players, but I'm pretty happy with the positions they drafted. We'll see how they pan out. Still more work to do between now and September. |

Yup, but noticed a bunch of folks were ready to cut Fuller, Roullier, etc. during our picks. No way I’m cutting either of these guys |

The 2 DBs back to back were a little odd but maybe they are both ballhawks and Can replace Fuller and Curl in 2024… OL still has a huge ?? QB too. Is Howell the guy or will Brissett take over ? Going to be interesting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I agree we should be keeping Fuller, need a veteran in that very young group. I think Ron and Co have pretty much moved on from Roullier, he has all but directly stated that Gates is the starting Centre and drafting Stromberg pretty much confirms it. After two such bad injuries it would not surprise me if Roullier retired. |

They didn't like our draft last year either. |

As you can see... all over the place for various reasons. But in the end, it's meaningless. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Very weird…I had heard Buffalo nickel was a priority But in the second round? And it was another reach. Mathis was a reach last year in the second. There were much better prospects on the board specifically the C from Minn and the Guard from Florida. Both those guys are starters in the league immediately The evaluations of Stromberg were all over the place. I dunno about 290 lbs tackles/guard but we will find out Like wtf, Forrest and Curl were later round picks…I’m expecting this Quan dude to ball immediately. His evaluations were late 3rd round pick. |

All their picks were in the top tier in RAS, except the late round running back, and there is reporting the scouts had supplemental info to boost his RAS score. The emphasis on RAS seems to be a trend. Cosmi, Forrest, and Butler are all freaky athletes. Stromberg is a freaky athlete, but not sure if he can hold the line against some of these interior monsters. Reminiscent of Corey Lichtensteiger. Great zone C, could not pass protect at all. |
