Re: Redskins: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
Just wondering if we might make a run at Peyton Hillis? We could use a power back to complement Helu, he should be reasonably cheap after having an off year, and he had a lot of success with Shanny in Denver. Maybe he's a good alternative to bringing back Hightower.
If the Fletcher deal doesn't get done are there any MLB's out there to replace him? 7 million is insane for a guy his age
7? Might want to jump that up to 9 ;) |

Wasn't Hillis running his mouth this past season? I like him but he got a little too headcase-y for me. Hopefully Hightower will be healthier this season and the o-line will be better. I wasn't thrilled with him early on last season, but he was also playing behind a lackluster line. Plus with Helu and Royster, I think we're pretty stacked at RB. |
Re: Redskins: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
Smoot, whose more likely to come here; Colston or VJack
|
Re: Redskins: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
Tough tough call. Probably V Jack because Shanahan has loved him for years. Colston has been on our radar for years...but Morocco Brown's opinion first necessarily carry as much weight.
Market will be higher for Jackson, though both have flaws. I'm nervous about Jackson, but he could be another Jared Allen |

If that is the case, good bye London IMO. |

I don't know if you remember a few years ago when Ray Lewis was a FA and people though he was going to sign with the Jets, where did end up? Same thing here, Fletcher will end up a Redskin. They can't get rid of the QB of the defense, he will sign back. |

I really hope your right. He is the only remaining upcoming FA I care about. |

I wonder if the Redskins are doing the same thing, let him test the market to see what his value is. |

Looks like Terrell Thomas may be hitting the market, I know some folks talked about him here.

Don't know if it was posted yet but Vikings to release Hutchinson
|
Also Cedric Griffin. There's a CB for us
|
Re: Redskins: 2012 Off-Season-Free Agency/Trades
I think they'd like to bring Griffin back
