Wow the Ukrainians really pounded the Russian Airforce this morning. One of the most audacious attacks of the war. Hitting airbases across the county including in the Artic and far east. 40 aircraft mostly strategic bombers and another A50 destroyed or damaged (from the video looks like mostly destroyed).

Anyone who thinks Trump isn't beholden to Putin at this point is absolutely mental. To be clear, the President of the United States just allowed a genocidal warmongering dictator who clearly violated agreements and the UN Charter to blatantly lie and be treated better than the President of the country that who was invaded by that dictator.
I am ashamed of this administration and the moron in charge of it.

It would not involve American boots on the ground in Ukraine. It would not risk nuclear warfare. If Putin sensed that the US was serious in preventing a win for Russia in Ukraine, a ceasefire followed by a peace conference would ensue.

I used to be sceptical about claims that Putin had access to kompromat on Trump that explained his grovelling relationship with the Kremlin. But if such kompromat is not the explanation, it is hard to see why the White House is behaving as it does towards Ukraine...."

None of it consequential until Russia actually stops fighting. Can't see it. It's antithetical to everything Putin has said: "the collapse of the USSR was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of our time."

He's not stopping at Ukraine, regardless of what he said in Alaska.
