But again if you are Seattle why would you trade a top QB? Someone give me one legit reason why they'd do it? What do they gain by trading him? Picks that hit less than 50%? They have any old coach. They ain't rebuilding w/ a rookie in a weak QB class. Wilson is out.
I tend to agree with you, but there is a price for everything. Everyone has that point where the offer is too much to refuse, and DS is the type of guy that will go there.
Because Wilson seems to want out and only stupid/dysfunctional franchise would drag a situation like this out. And Pete Carroll is established enough that the team would give him the time to rebuild.
Brady has influenced both Russ and AR situations. I think leaving is in the cards for both.

Also, teams can learn from situations like Houston, who paid Watson $10 million to sit at home for a whole season. Or how Bruce Allen got into a dick swinging contest with Kirk and let him walk for nothing.

It is just plain stupid for teams to insist on keeping a QB that no longer wants to play with them.

It pretty much aligns with the norms of rich owners who think they are invincible.

and it is in boths best interest to stay in NFC. Go to AFC have to face: Mahommes, Allen, Burrow, Herbert, Jackson I am sure I am missing other young QBs that can change games lightening fast or stay in NFC and face
Stafford, Prescott

I gonna call it now…but watch Rodgers to the Titans.

Green Bay will not trade to an NFC team. When AR looks at Denver and Tennessee, he is building a huge house there, and The team is much better than Broncos

Broncos are for sale . Rumor is Brady and the Mannnigs putting together a group to make an Offer. I could see AR going there if that happens.

The most realistic option for Russ is to force his way out in a few years when his contract expires.

All these QB's that want their freedom can do what Kirk did. Play on one year deals until it is no longer doable for the team. I don't see any of them doing that.

Say what you want about Kirk but he played the system and played Dan/Bruce like a violin. So if these guys want their freedom there is an easier way form them to do it.

Elite QBs like Russ and Rodgers do not need to go the franchise tag route that Kirk and Dak had to go through if they want out. Very different situation, teams, and tiers of QB.

I'm not saying it is easy for the likes of Russ and Rodgers to force their way out of their teams. But as someone mentioned it, Brady set a big precedent for elite QBs when he left the Pats.

Once his contract is up he can walk, there's no forcing out of anything at that point. That's an eternity at this point though. I don't know of any players that would pass up more money now for later on. That could be another motivation for RW to demand a trade, $$. Any team that trades for him is going to give him a fat extension.

And they have the cap space for him.

Well, we could be looking at needing more depth at S if he's convicted. :(

To add to this, KC was in his mid twenties when he ass raped Bruce Allen.
Wilson is on the wrong side of 30. No player his age wants to be on a one and done deal.

Chico texted this behind the wheel doing 95 in a 50 zone. Lol. Joking.

I agree. Cut his ass. That shit is inexcusable. Especially as someone who can literally hire a driver. Crazy.
