In related news, Dan Snyder just bought this statue and plans to have it put in front of the NFL offices in New York City.

So what I'm getting from that is there will be nothing that stops the Redskins tomorrow.
show your work, those numbers confuse me
We have 40 million cap room this year, we are losing 36 over the next two. So say we take a 20 million hit this year and have 20 left to spend this year. Then next year we are going to lose 16 million again. Oooooor was that sarcasm that snuck right by me?

Dan Snyder and Jerry Jones are probably the only two people that can afford better attorneys than the NFL. Take em down Danny Boy.

Statement from the Cowgirls:

The Dallas Cowboys were in compliance with all league salary cap rules during the uncapped year. We look forward to the start of the free agency period where our commitment to improving our team remains unchanged.

Jesus Christ. Way to go Skins. Well, I guess this is the business as usual in Washington they're always talking about.

Re: NFL taking away Redskins cap space

So, perhaps the move is: **** you. Either show us the documented infraction, properly served, or we are not going to give you a cent from our caps.

Then the league will have to pony up some documentation, and we can appeal in the usual way. But to pony up the documentation would expose just how ****ed and targeted this punishment is. Then the skins and cowroids can say, hey, what about the bears, pack, etc? And off we go.

So we had to cut Atogwe. That's great. And there's a good chance we'll have to cut Hall? What a secondary!
They can't put brakes on the entire process. Push it into next year and the. Get into court. It's dumb to freeze the whole league to sort this out.
and thats my point. Either stop the whole NFL process since they seemed to wait till the last minute to bring it up or hold off with any punishments until the team or both teams can argue their cases. One would hope there is an appeal process for this and that the punishement is held off untill the appeal can be heard.

I just don't see how Collusion applies;

noun 1. a secret agreement, especially for fraudulent or treacherous purposes; conspiracy: Some of his employees were acting in collusion to rob him.

2. Law . a secret understanding between two or more persons to gain something illegally, to defraud another of his or her rights, or to appear as adversaries though in agreement: collusion of husband and wife to obtain a divorce.
Ok so
A- who did the Skins have a secret agreement with?
B- who was frauded?
C- for what treacherous purposes?

the second definition;
A- who did the Skins have a secret understanding with?
B- how did the Skins gain anything legally?
C- who's rights were defrauded?
D- who was our adversary in agreement?

Please don't say we colluded with Dallas to defraud the other owners of their rights to what? get below the CAP? WTF? and if it was illegal wouldn't the Feds be getting involved? Oh wait... there was no rule or law against it. So at this point all the owners can do is come together in their monthly meeting and all agree they don't want it to happen again and then pass some rule saying they can't do it. Otherwise.... get off our backs because you all didn't think of it.
