Packers are my 'way too early' pick to represent the NFC in the SB next year.

Will always remember him going to Dallas and throttling them in the playoffs. Lafleur's playcalling impressive also. Think GB will be in the mix for awhile.

I don’t think he even knows what a spin move is or he thinks it is illegal. A third for him is such a steal at this point but doesn’t erase the fact that we used the second pick on him. Damn. Not saying I wasn’t on board because obviously i was. Just a total bust. |

I wanted Tua at 2 but wasn’t mad we took CY. Honestly I’m glad we don’t have Tua either. He’s a good QB but not Elite and will never Be Elite Imo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I think he's one of many that come out with insane potential, but doesn't have the kind of drive that truly elite players have (Jordan/Kobe) to be the best at their craft. Ego is too big, too interested in getting the bag/commercials, etc... CY is the only thing that stopped CY from being one of the best defensive players in the league. |

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Now lets stop and really analyze what every SINGLE one of those QBs have in common. They ALL sat on the bench for multiple years. Favre is the exception in that he sat 1 year at Atlanta and only played the 2nd year with GB b/c Don M. went down with ankle injury). Unfortunately, most of you guys are too impatient for this to every happen. 99.95% of QBs coming into the league simply aren't ready for the speed/complexity of the game in their first year. Throwing them out there will do nothing but stunt their growth. Even history shows this mostly. You think the Skins would have won shit if Gibbs threw a rookie QB into his offense the first year? Fuck no. |
Re: NFL Divisional Round Playoffs
If I could pull up all of your posts about Chase back when he was being drafted. All I heard was "generational player" blah blah.. I never bought into any of it simply because he never had the side bend and the motor that the great rushers have had. I remember that Clemson game, which was his last and he was handled by a guy that wasn't drafted. That just stuck w/ me.

Fuck no.
Times have changed now. QB's that are drafted high are normally going to a bad team and have to get on the field. Also during Gibbs 1 he had a established starter in Theismann. He didn't have to go out and draft a guy in 81. During his first go around the highest guy drafted was Jay Schreoder which I think was a 3rd rounder and that was while JT was still starting. I think Green Bay has done an outstanding job w/ their QB's. They don't care if they have a starter that's entrenched. They'll draft someone and won't give a damn if it hurts the starters feelings. |

Gibbs may not have had a rookie, but there is a reason Williams, Schroeder, Rypien all thrived under him. Coaching. Also a GM that was able to build a great team around them, of course. Alot of variables that go into success. Hopefully we are on the way to having them! |
Re: NFL Divisional Round Playoffs
Bucs not backing down. People really need to start giving Mayfield props. Still thought Cleveland gave up on him way too early.

Re: NFL Divisional Round Playoffs
Hard not to be rooting for the Lions. What a job Campbell has done. And Ben Johnson was absolutely outstanding keeping the pressure on Tampa. Not satisfied w/ running clock but instead trying to score. Even Aaron Glenn, he's done such a great job w/ that defense.. So many great assistant coaches out there that deserve a shot at being a HC.

All the highlights and tape just looked to be against guys who were slower. Nothing jumped out at me when we had the #2 pick to say YOU HAVE TO TAKE HIM. Historically hated the pick then and still do now. He made some plays and had a good rookie season but that was the end of it. Injury + lack of, what seems like interest, and that's been his story so far. Bust, JAG ass clown, LOAF |

Who are you talking to? Anyway, I think the whole world thought he was going to be special. I do not necessarily remember the game but probably brushed his performance off as he didn’t want to get injured and risk the millions he was about to make. That being said he has obviously not panned out, especially for us, and it sucks but at least we got something back for it. [emoji2371] |

Bills been choking since 1990. They are the Chiefs bitches. Just get plowed in their bussey's by them every year.
Nice kick Bass, you bitch. |
Re: NFL Divisional Round Playoffs
Chiefs are dangerous with a healthy Pacheco and their boys aren't dropping the ball. AFC title game should be good.

Re: NFL Divisional Round Playoffs
It's the Chiefs D that's got them to there, and needs to come up with something to stop Jackson. At this point it feels like the Ravens drive to the SB is a steamroller. Chiefs have been playing great pass D but can they stop the run?
