Re: WFT v Dallas prediction thread (non you know what only)
The whole thing is a bit overblown in my opinion. They are supposed to be confident that they are going to win, just as the WFT players and coaches should be, and it's just fine for all of them to express that. Like many have already stated - what else are they supposed to say?
I just don't see what the big deal is here. People trying to make more of a story than there really is.
Because usually it isn’t so blunt. A coach will say, “i am confident we can get it done” or “if we play our game we can win”. Not “we are going to win this game “. Very very rarely will a coach guarantee a victory. |

Semantics. I didn't see or hear the word "guarantee", and I don't see the difference between "I'm confident we can get it done" and "We’re going to win this game. I’m confident in that." It's the same thing and it's no big deal. |

It's the same thing and it's no big deal.
Ok fine, the words “we’re going to win this game” (a guarantee) very very rarely come out of a coaches mouth. That is the reason it is a big story. I don’t think it is such a big deal either for the record, but it is extremely unusual for a coach to say that. You could almost see the look on his face after he said it like whoops. I think he was sort of fumbling for words and it just came out. Ron is definitely using it to fire the boys up. Said it was a big mistake. Every player on the team is fully aware he said it and it is motivated even more now. Fuck McCarthy. He is a fuckin bumbling idiot. And a lousy HC. |
Re: WFT v Dallas prediction thread (non you know what only)
Yep, McCarthy is a dope.
I hope they don't need something as trivial as this to fire them up though. |

Not only are you firing us up, but you are putting pressure on your team , and most importantly you are conveying to them that you are worried about it. He didn’t say this before any other game. Why? Because he didn’t feel the need to. McCarthy blinked. He is worried about this game, and he should be. You can look at it like 6-6 vs 8-4, but we all know this game is 4-0 vs 1-3. Downswing meet upswing. |

Honestly, if we somehow manage to shit stomp them, I can’t wait to see Stephen A v Michael Irvin. He’s annoying but his hatred of the cowboys is a redeeming quality.

With the injuries and covid crap I don’t see us winning.Dak is what 7-1 against us?
Dallas 21-16 |
Re: WFT v Dallas prediction thread (non you know what only)
Here is the final injury report. It isn't as bad as it could be for the Skins and Dallas had two big injury notes this week.
https://twitter.com/Wash_PR/status/1469399276069527558?t=H7HLkeQsPSK5SdXIXH1vHg&s=19 Larsen, Scherff, and RSJ had full practices Friday and no injury designation. Of our 4 questionable players Davis had a full practice Friday, and Samuel, Collins, McKissic were all limited but we know Samuel will certainly play. I imagine Collins will go on limited snaps as well. Our only guys listed OUT Schweitzer and Kunaszyck. Still looking for Samuel to have a breakout game, and this may be it. Chief after we beat them it will not be a nothing burger. It will go down in WFT lore! The Cowdicks and their fans will never hear the end of it. If this was the Browns and the Falcons or something than who cares. This is one if the most storied rivalries in the game. If they lose McCarthy and the Cowdicks have egg on their faces for eternity. Lol. |

Zeke and Pollard banged up is a Huge blow to them, even if both play I doubt they’ll be very effective. A knee and a Foot respectfully is no joke. |

If I was Dallas I would target two players, William Jackson and McCain. Both have been a liability, this would tell us if they’ve turn the corner or are the same bums.

Re: WFT v Dallas prediction thread (non you know what only)
It’s all about playing more physical on both sides of the ball.
Do that and stop the big play from their receivers, we win |

Smith-Williams out. COVID. Honestly, if it turns out that he’s another unvaccinated idiot…. Sweat is out this week and next, per Keim. Brilliant.

Note the title of the thread. Keep Covid from contaminating this thread. (It seriously can destroy a thread)
There are other threads for covid, political, non-political, and sports related please use those for venting or otherwise commenting on a player's covid and vaccination status. Thank you That said, not having sweat AND smith-williams will be a huge loss. Sent from my SM-G973U using Tapatalk |

It may just be a coincidence but as soon as Montez came back there seems to have been a number cases on the defensive side of the ball

Well we beat the Raiders without McKissic and they beat the Cowdicks. I usually do not prescribe to that way of thinking but I have no choice. I am extremely and strangely confident in a WFT victory today, and the closer it gets to game-time the more i think we can whoop em.

The key to this game is the OL controlling time of possession and keeping their O off the field. Our ends are down to the replacements, I like Toney and Wise. They need a huge game from them to win this one. |

Fuck their o. Daks weapons are banged up and he has been bad too. |
Re: WFT v Dallas prediction thread (non you know what only)
I don’t feel good about this game. When it comes to picking Dallas are washed and I’m always going to pick Dallas, they always break my heart.
We need a running game to help Heinicke, Dak doesn’t need one, and I don’t think Elliott will be that effective, but Dak has all his receivers healthy and I think he puts a fork in us,Micah Parsons gonna have couple sacks with a forced fumble,Dallas win( man I hope I’m wrong) Don’t have Sunday ticket and I can’t believe the game will not be televised in Houston |
