Gruden just can’t make any adjustments in the second half. I’ve never seen him win the second half, not with Cousins, Smith or Keenum. He gets a lead in the first half and tries to gut it out, by playing conservatively, with a 13 point lead against an elite team. He may win a few games this way but not against a good team. He’s a predictable and a below average HC.

I thought the Redskin’s new WR would shock the NFL [by doing well] and they were great! I was watching the game with Eagles fans and they kept saying, “who is that WR?, who is that guy?” Our young WR will keep improving as the season progresses, as long as the QB can get them the ball. That missed pass to a wide open McLaurin was just a killer - that was a sure TD. You don’t get guys that far open very often. Wentz sure didn’t miss DeSean when he was open like that.

Van Norman is over-paid and over-rated. He’ll be gone when Gruden is fired.

No sacks on the Eagles? Was it because Allen was hurt or the scheme or both? We have this great DL and in the second half they’re making truck lanes for their RB. I blame the coaching.

Didn’t DeSean Jackson play here for three years? Did we just forget that he was a fast and deadly 1,000 yd WR?
Maybe our Defensive Coordinator Manusky thought because Bruce Allen stupidly let him go in 2017, that he must now suck. DJax had the last laugh on us. I never understood why we let him go then, or now.

If someone told me the Skins would be up by 17 score 27 total vs Philly I'd have said there's no way Wash can lose. It looks like the D that was supposed to be the strength of the team isn't that good after all.

This team never looks desperate to win and until they find that desperation, they are going to be stuck in Loserville.

You guys all already mention negatives for the game so I'm not going to go over those. Does anyone know if Gruden or O'Connell called offense plays? I'm curious about that.

To me, I see some positives from the game.

- Case: he played better than I thought he would. Our offense didn't look like handicapped at all, and Case played a big role in that. The offense showed good tempo in first half, which means the offense has it in them, just that they need to do it for full game every time. But then, that largely falls on coaches.

- McLaurin: I'm glad I drafted him in late round in my fantasy football league. If he keeps it up through the season, he might be my keeper. It's still really early but he looks like a real deal.

- Holcomb: no words needed, he showed it all on the field.

- Oline: I am not sure if this is right place for Oline but I must admit, the line did decent job of handling Eagles' Dline. At last better than I thought they would, I assumed Eagles defense will dominate Redskins offense.

- Tress Way: he should go to probowl this year, and he should have went last year.

The coaching staff sucks man!! I hate this shit year in and year out!! Jay Gruden needs to go send him to Oakland with his brother cause I don’t want his sorry *** with us!! Horrible man we had that game we should have won that game should have came back second half and dominated more! But of course not not with gruden or menusky as coaches!!! My only issue with the o-line right now is Morgan Moses. This guy led the league in penalties last year and it seems that he picked up right where he left off. Otherwise, I think it was surprising to see them do a decent job against a crazy talented d-line.

Their offensive line completely manhandled our DL and OLBs on passing downs. Wentz could build a tent back there while waiting for guys to get open 50 yards down the field. They gave the secondary no help. Kerrigan and Co. should be absolutely embarrassed of their performance.

Really discouraging to see the same issues in the secondary with the big communications breakdowns. With the coaching change and adding Collins was suppose to eliminate this shit...looks like still an issue. Josh Norman needs to play better and Manusky needs to eliminate the this fucking problem.

And looks like once again Manusky cant get the guys off the field on the 3rd downs. Second half Eagles were like 8-10 on 3rd down...pathetic

I don't know why I allow myself to get so upset by this team. This is the normal and will always be the normal with Mr. Burns, Smithers, and Gruden in charge. Dysfunction on the back end and pathetic football on the field. If you can't make any adjustments you are a bad HC. Therefore Jay Gruden is a SHITTY HC. And we already knew that Manusky was a bottom 3 DC. The team has no chance to be successful.

Here I'm thinking the offensive is going to struggle and the defense will hold it's own. And it's exactly the opposite. I just don't get it.

That game crushed me. I had zero hope before kickoff. The first half got me believing we could shut Philly's fans up, second half crushed me back to reality, and then reality rubbed its d*ck on my face all night long...

If you told me only the points the Redskins scored, I would have said we won. Two players lost the game for us. When Allen went out, the defense was totally different and Jackson should get Snyder to sign the team over to him since HE'S the one who actually owns it. I'd love to know Jackson's stats against the Skins.

This. I expected a loss, and was just excited to see the young guys. In pure Skins fashion I was totally expecting the upset (AND MAYBE a butt-pounding of the Eagles at home), but instead, somehow they crush my soul again.

Apropos of nothing, I think we should part ways with TW [I]and[/I] Morgan Moses. The last thing an NFL teams needs are drama-loving, pot-stirrers (pun intended) on the offensive line. Isn’t that supposed to be the one unit on the team with the proverbial lunch pail mentality? Might as well sign Richie Incognito and Jonathan Martin too and throw them all in there, just one big, giant, melodramatic pity party. It would probably make for a good reality TV show. The Hogettes would be the perfect name if it weren’t already taken.
