Re: Jags postgame
The thing w/ Kerrigan is although he is a good player, a solid player, he doesn't make any game changing type of plays. He's been very durable and lines up every week but will never be a great impact player.
Had Dexter been able to keep himself straight he was going into the HOF.
His strip/sack that led to Preston's TD against the Cowboys wasn't a game-changing play? :saywhat: Kerrigan's a stud. Glad to have him on the team and locked in for the next couple years. |
Re: Jags postgame
Yeah to say he doesn't make game changing plays is silly, 25 forced fumbles over his career. He's been a rock solid player for us, definitely underappreciated by too many.

I have been one that is hard to RK, I will admit he is a damn good player. Is he a Great Rusher? No but he's in the top 20 for sure. |

Re: Jags postgame
Zac Kerin played 19 snaps yesterday at LG and only allowed 1 pressure. That is not bad

Yeah he's a solid player, I think he could get better and better. |
Re: Jags postgame
Didn't Kerrigan start the first 4 games without a sack or a hit on the QB? I would also think Marshall thought the guy he hit had the ball.
|
Re: Jags postgame
I gave the game ball to JJ. 32 years old 12 different teams and gets his first win. The guy has to be the gold standard for not giving up. I could not give the game ball to a defensive player because the Jaguars offense is so bad. They probably would have trouble having a successful TD drive in practice against a bunch of tackling dummies.

His athleticism is obvious now. If Reuben Foster is cleared our LB squad suddenly looks promising. Envoyé de mon SM-J320FN en utilisant Tapatalk |

Why did they trade for Hyde? And why was he inactive..he’s not bad |
Re: Jags postgame
Gotta show some love to Crowder who was able to catch that tipped pass for a huge gain. Without that completion, I think the 'skins have to punt.

They thought they were still in it until Bortles showed up again. |
Re: Jags postgame
Jags should have Flacco's agent on speed dial. The Jags offense yesterday is simply not NFL level football.

It's as bad as it gets but did u know they are actually better than the following: Jets Skins Cards Bills Dolphins In terms of YPG. Ahead of Oak - AZ in PPG. |
Re: Jags postgame
The injury bug just doesn’t stop, this makes 19 on the IR list:
Redskins coach Jay Gruden said CB Josh Holsey will be placed on IR with a partially torn ACL. CB Danny Johnson has a dislocation in his knee/finger. They’re not sure yet what his status will be. |

Well that's mostly because we are on a 3rd and now 4th QB. It wasn't real good w/ Colt or Smith but what I saw yesterday w/ Kessler, that was like some high school shit. They could barely complete a forward pass |
Re: Jags postgame
Bibbs claimed by GB.

I was just wondering today what the hell happened to him? Thought he was underused. Im sure he is better off elsewhere. Good for him. |

Yeah I followed on redzone and nfl channel. Saw bits n pieces. Watched gamecast on espn. They were definitely a very anemic offense to say the least. Im not sure Cody Kessler is any better than our first, second, third, or fourth quarterbacks so I wouldn’t use quarterback play as an excuse. But yeah first time in several weeks I have thought our offense was the best one on the field. |
Re: Jags postgame
I'm curious why they're keeping Perine over Bibbs. Bibbs has been playing, I forgot Perine is even on the team.
|
Re: Jags postgame
Tape on JJ was very impressive, he made a few big time throws, especially rolling left and throwing left. He also keeps his poise back there, He was by FAR better than Colt and Mark in their first starts. Also DL was incredible, all 4 guys did a hell of a job.

Also, having Jehu Chesson on the active roster and letting Simmie Cobbs get picked off the practice squad by the Saints. PUNT TEAM GUNNERS ARE NOT THAT IMPORTANT. Make somebody else do it. For fuck's sake. |

Re: Jags postgame
Well look at our QB situation? Smith refuses to throw the ball downfield and may never play again. Colt has no arm and Sanchez and Johnson aren't even NFL quality QB's really. If you were Cobbs, wouldn't you go play w/ the Saints and get a chance to have Brees throw you dimes? It was a no brainer.

Jay loves him some Byron Marshall. Marshall is the guy he wants to backup CT. Neither is ever really healthy but that's what he wants. |
