Here's the main difference, they give up 17 points a game (2nd best in the league), we give up 26.2 (29th overall).

At some point earlier in the year I remember thinking New England had the worst defense in football and their run was finally over. We beat the Raiders and at the very least we were better than the “not so great anymore “ Pats. Wtf was I smoking? Wish i still had some of whatever it was.

As much as i hate Seattle... i hate the eagles a fuck ton more. I hope they blow them the fuck out. Tired of all these over hyped eagles fans when they really have just had a soft schedule and caught teams at the best times possible. Decided to look back at Eagles schedule. They have played one hell of an easy schedule. Done what they had to do. However their two toughest games are at KC and at Seattle. They lost both. Thought at the time the Denver win was big but Denver blows. They beat Carolina by 5. Anyway- before tonight I thought they were the best team out there. Now I think they are somewhere in the top 6-8 teams. No more. No less.
Every dumb ass eagles fan in the world is thinking about whether or not they will go to the super bowl parade - might be a little premature.

I’m on the Rams and Vikings bandwagon, both of those are the best in the NFC including NO. I’ll take the Rams over the eagles next week.

Agreed their schedule sets them up for a tough fall...I’ve been saying this, Vikings have been the most impressive team I’ve seen in the nfc.

In the afc, after their slow start, the Patriots are among a class by themselves. People keep talking Steelers, but they aren’t on the same level.

I am not sure about that. They traded up in the first round last year to draft Paxton Lynch. They have not even seen what they have there yet.

Denver will be a big player in the Cousins sweepstakes IMO. He can come in an make an immediate impact and provide some veteran leadership to help develop Lynch.

To the contrary, that is precisely what you should do. The way the rookie salary pools are structured allows teams to afford situations just like this.

How many games have they even played Lynch? They do not know what they have yet.

But lets say they sign Cousins and (if you are right) Lynch is not the guy, they decline the 5th year option and let him walk. And they have Cousins as the franchise.

And if they find value in Lynch with Cousins there, they hand the reins to him at the backend (heavy) of Cousins contract and let Kirk go. Or they trade Lynch. See Jimmy Garoppolo....

The NFC playoff race is fun to watch, GB is still alive (barely) but still.
Seattle is basically a lock for the 5 or 6 seed. Atlanta and Carolina will fight for the other WC spot. I like Atlanta to go. Dallas is done.

The Packers wins next week and Aaron Rodgers returns the week after....every playoff team shits their pants at once...Aaron leads them to the 6th seat and goes into Philly to sends there ass home.

I’m not even talking playoffs, but from what I’ve seen Keenum will be fine. Especially since most than likely they’ll have the best record and hosting the playoffs.
