How many sacks would we have had against any other qb in the league last night? 10? Hope we bring that pressure Thursday.

Kerrigan could have had 3 or 4 easy. AR is slippery AF.

I kept thinking about Lavar last night. Remember how he used to have such a quick first step he would breech the oline but just go flying past the qb.
In this case yeah AR is slippery AF!

Re: Packer's Post-Game: How do you like me now?!

Great game by the O against a decimated pack D. Did what we had to do. Loved the KC air raid plus Fat Rob. We've got weapons.

The D is what it is. Not a great bunch up front, though they have flashes, and the DBs are either too young or too old, with the exception of JN. Sua is learning, Fuller is too, though it's painful at times. Bend don't break and get some timely sacks and TOs. And hope the O can ball control to keep the D off the field!

Nice game for Gruden. Glad to see him get some love there. Gonna have to pay KC. I'd seriously think about paying Nsekhe at LT and putting Trent at LG. We'll see. I trust in McLovin.

Great to finally win one on primetime. That was getting pretty frickin old.
How much is a 32 year old career back up going to get on the open market? IMO that is a guy you may have to overpay to keep around.
he may be a career backup, but he is only in his second year . . . there is very very very little wear on his body . . . he should be good for a while . . . and if he plays the next 2 games like he did this one, he will demand a good amount of $$$ (ton to me) as he is a LT and LT's are EXPENSIVE.

Nice to have excess quality offensive lineman instead of one of the worse group of onlineman in the league isn't it?

i completely disagree with this statement. He may be 32, but has almost no wear on his body as he is only in his second year in the league . . . he'll be fine for another 5 - 7 years, and he'll get a big $$$ contract somewhere as left tackles are not easy to come by.

He's played plenty of football in the arena league so the wear and tear argument doesn't really fly. He's on the wrong side of 30, teams aren't going to want to make any big commitment.

When a team is desperate for a starting caliber T in this case an LT, some foolish team just might give up a 2nd or 3rd rounder. LT's don't grow in trees.

no even close to the same deal . . . Ray Brown was in his 19th season when he signed with the skins (i am assuming your are talking about his second stint with the Skins as he got a big contract from the 49ers after his first stint in Washington) . . . not his second . . . Ray Brown was 42 (not 32) years old and in his 19th season . . . and still played damn good . . . Nsekhe is 32 and in his 2nd year . . . HUGE DIFFERENCE

fine, though . . . in minor leagues, players will have a little wear and tear, but he was going up against guys much smaller and less talented then him . . . i'm sure he didn't have to work as hard or take as many blows to the knees which are the most crucial for wear and tear on a lineman . . . but either way, offensive lineman play into their late 30's quite a bit . . . quality left tackles are extremely hard to find and his is playing like a top 3 LT .. . . he will get paid by someone, and if the skins want to keep him he will be the 2nd highest paid o-linemen on the team behind TW . . . plus Alex Mac just signed a huge contract in Atlanta and he is 31 and just a center . . . centers make far less than tackles

He was like 28 when he played he first for the skins and sat on the bench for a few years, then he started, signed with the 49ers in his 30's and dominated during that time. That's what I meant.

k . . . but he got a big contract with the 49ers . . . and that is what everyone seems to think will NOT happen with Nseskhe . . . he will get $7 - $10 mil per year minimum for 3 - 5 years . . . write it down and feel free to hold it against me if it doesn't happen.

Mack was far more established. If someone wants to give a relatively unproven LT on the wrong side of 30 big money I say let them. I don't see it happening but we shall see.

Re: Packer's Post-Game: How do you like me now?!

He is going to get paid some good cash. I'm sure the Skins money team already has a certain amount they would match, and if its above that he's probably gone. Hopefully we can keep him. If not, that's how it works sometimes. Bring in a younger guy and hope he can be a solid (and cheaper) backup.

he was far more established, with everyone saying he was washed out and done . . . now he is playing at an all pro level, at the cheapest offensive line position there at 32 years of age making $9 million per year for the next 4.5 years . . . it will be a big $$$ contract, but it won't be here. No ..I have not been up all night..I just have seen too many players who have multiple drug suspensions end up not ending well. Yes Trent is the best OT maybe in league..the best we have for sure! My post clearly stated it would take a lot to get him..but in my opinion I would trade him for a top 10 overall pick in next years draft..only ONLY because I believe he will fail another test and be gone for maybe a year. only time will tell and i hope I am wrong. side note...i don't believe there is any team that would trade us a top 10 pick for him (with his issue). So you guys can say I'm crazy but IF he screws up again we can revisit this topic.

I've found him pretty bad from the beginning, blown coverages, missed tackles. Yesterday definitely was his worst performance.
The refs threw us a bone as well. One of the roughing the passers calls that went our way was laughable.
And how laughable was that first touchdown """catch""" by Nelson?! Even the announcers said outside the end zone that would never be considered a catch... He doesn't have control of the ball for more than half a second that was ridiculous.

I'm thinking about starting a new religion, Bill Callahan being God. Believers would have to pray God every morning by going out on the streets by groups of 5 Callahanners, pushing people around, driving them back at least 10 yards each.

So let's say he fails another drug test and is gone for a year. Is that this year? Next year? Or in five years? Because that makes all the difference in the world. Ill sign up for five more years of TW right now over a top ten pick in next years draft.

For sure IF I knew he would stay okay for next 5 years..but the game is hard enough to stay on the field with injuries then you add the risk of failed drug test and you get the picture..we both want the man to play..I just am not as optimistic as you. have a great thanksgiving!

First. Trent is signed for 3 more years beyond this year. We extended him for five years 50mil last offseason. (He may have four more years after this one)

Second. Nseke is a beast. We need to keep him around if for nothing else then to be an insurance policy. The guy has amazing for two game.

Three. We aren't trading TW 👏👏

Four. Nseke bas played a ton of football. CFL AFL Semipro and so on. He's 32 he's played ball for years. He may not be a beat up 32 but he's still 32.

Lastly, pay cousins, baker and Pierre. At minimum and bring back ,Tye.

Welcome back to relevancy fellow Redskins fans. After watching this team the last two years we are on the verge of prolonged greatness. Look at our last six games. Tell me which game you look at that we aren't going to win. I'm sure we may lose a couple of man we could legitimately win all six

I know its woulda coulda shoulda talk but think how close we are to being 9-1? A bad int, missed fg, and defensive letdown. That close. This team is relevant for sure.
The game that scares me the most of what is left is without a doubt Thursday. Short week and travel. Dallas playing pretty well. If we win Thursday I will actually start thinking about a deeeep run into the playoffs.

IF we win Thursday and won our last six games, there is a real path to the East and a bye. It's not inconceivable.

Now do I think we are there yet, maybe just due to the way this team fights every week. Just pure heart, that in and of itself is why I love this team.

Re: Packer's Post-Game: How do you like me now?!

Good call to give props to Bill Callahan. The o-line is a strength and Fat Rob is a bull dozer. We gotta keep pounding him, he definitely got stronger as the game went on.

Unsung hero last night: did anyone see CT picking up the blitz? Great block that helped a long play happen.

Garcon just keeps rocking & Crowder was able to stretch his legs last night.

Defense played good enough, but the safety spot is definitely a concern. I was hopeful that Whitner would bring more than he's shown...he looked old and slow last night. Still, we might need him in the box to stop Elliot.

And, Josh punching that ball out...we need more of that against the cowgirls on Thursday.
