Watching the Redzone it's obvious you can't play defense in the NFL anymore. These refs are making some ridiculous calls today. Game after game, flag after flag whenever someone makes a tackle.

How about Arian Foster and the Texans? About time they stepped up and took control of the AFC South.

Ha, it's going to be comical watching Skipp Bayless make excuses for Tim Tebow tommorow. His hate is also starting to build up for Cam Newton. Saying he no longer gets a pass; if his team continues to lose then the fault largely rests with him. What a f*cking tool that guy is.

Ha, looks like I spoke to soon about Skipp and Tebow. Skipp is going to go ballistic on First & 10 tomorrow.

So will Sparano be fired after blowing a 15-0 lead in the 4th?

Hmm, Ponder is looking like he was worthy of the first round pick to me. Looks like Mayock, Lombardi, and the rest of the prognosticators were wrong on so many accounts about last years draft.

That's right, reach a conclusion about a rookie passer before his first game is even over.

Yeah, that kid is ballin today. Of course it is against st. Louis' d but I gotta give him credit. The cowboys good fortune at rb continues. And as I type this Carson Palmer just threw his his third pick. Nice debut there.

Ponder is looking pretty good against the best team in the league. If Gabbert somehow works out fo rthe Jags, this may be a good rookie QB class.

Yeah, even though Ponder's had a couple bad plays for the most part he really has come in and played pretty good. It doesn't mean he'll be great by any stretch but a good start should be recognized nonetheless.

mooby 10-23-2011 09:20 PM

This is a pretty uninspiring Sunday night contest. I'm about to switch to the 'Series.

On a side note I haven't really noticed how good Brees has been this season. Speaks to the dominance of all the qb play in the NFL so far this season.

Agreed. Large fine and hopefully a suspension coming. It takes a real bitch to intentionally kick another man in the balls.

On nights like this the NFL needs a mercy rule. Just call the game now.

Re: Around the NFL Week 7

Carson Palmer proves once again that QBs can't perform in a new offensive system in a period of extremely short notice(i.e 1-3 weeks).

mooby 10-23-2011 10:51 PM

Saints putting the 50 burger on the Colts. Mercy rule indeed lotus.

Ex-Skin Leigh Torrence with a pick 6.

Wow! A 60 burger! The last time that happened I was on my way to learning how football was played.

They have plenty of time to score two more touchdowns.

Idk how it keeps needing to be proven. What qb has played a great game 5 days after joining a team?

Curtis Painter has a bet going with his friends that he can be the first qb to lead his team back from a 55 point deficit.

Well to be fair, much like our Monday Night Nightmare last year this is just a case of one team having everything humanly possible going right for them. A perfect storm of sorts.

I like this Aaron Rodgers State Farm commercial.

"oh a quarterback, well I'm a robot"

once again a Cowboy is the greatest player in the NFL according to the guys on TV. DeMarco Murray had a great game against a piss poor rushing defense and you would think he is in the running for MVP

Re: Around the NFL Week 7

I have to admit. I love Tebow. Guy reminds me of the old Abraham Lincoln quote ""If you want to test a man's character, give him power." A test Tebow has passed with flying colors.

With that said I am going to slam the next person through a window that starts and ends their argument as to why he'll be successful going forward with the vague "he's a winner" argument. He barely beat a struggling Miami team after missing open receivers for most of the day. How long do you think he'll be able to get away with playing like that?

i'd take tim, cam, or ponder on this team every day of the week.

I guess the raiders finally imploded... that didn't very long.
