Well, the Vikes probably know less about McNabb than we do, similar to how Philly knew more about McNabb prior to "The Trade". Not to mention that they might overrate their own team based on that playoff run a couple years ago.

I just dont understand the value of dumping a talent like McNabb for a 6th rounder...I sure hope we get more than that...the guy isn't a one dimensional DE for heavens sake

Just got an email that this deal is done. Specifics not in yet, but looking like a 2012 6th and 2013 5th (conditional).

Some contract terms need to be worked out, but it appears to be a formality really

i like the trade. i would rather him as our starter going forward. he's simply the best we have right now and his contract isn't [I]that[/I] ridiculous. but i knew that wasn't going to happen, better than cutting him. that late, picks are picks, trading pieces to move around the board.
