Ditto. Mainly, I think all these guys care about the Skins, and try to do their best, it's just that their best is not what we want it to be, or what they think of themselves. But Carlos has left the station. Maybe because of his coordinator's lack of respect for him, maybe because he is "so over it". But I am quite content if he never plays another down in a Skins uniform. Really, I didn't even realize he had been benched, and our d still held it's own. I suppose this week will be a good test, but I would rather see him benched then getting burned because he didn't give a damn.
I'm so done with Redskins fans that forget about Sean Taylor's passing and how Portis carreid this team. I am so done with Redskins fans who have no loyalty. You don't trade Moss after that come back 4th quarter victory over Dallas while Joe Gibbs was the coach? Moss and Portis should end their careers here. We can get a young RB and let him and Portis play until Portis fades away. No problem with free spirits why Riggo was here why is Portis being flamboyant a problem. No loyalty! |

I'm so done with fans that don't understand the point of a particular thread
Who's that one high-profile starter on this team that you've just had enough of and you want him gone by season's end if not sooner? Rogers, he keep getting beat. He's in a contract year, and then he whines about it.

Re: I'm So Done With...
Went with ARE horrible, horrible contract for the production we have gotten. Below average receiver and return man...actually if the entire list was cut after this year I could care less at this point
|
Re: I'm So Done With...
I voted Portis for a variety of reasons, but mainly because there always seems to be a shroud of controversy surrounding him that usually has negative overtones, negativity the team can very well do without in these troubled times.
On the other hand, there have been times during the course of this season when a case could be made for everyone on the list, they've all been highly scrutinized at one time or another. |

He has never earned it. |
Re: I'm So Done With...
You know not what you speak of. Moss is here to stretch the field so we can pound and play Joe Gibbs football. Tired of the cutesy WCO. You want a tall player to catch the little slants and stuff, that is not Moss. Utilize his strengths, there are no two NFL players alike. That's my beef with Zorn, he needs to learn to use what he has to advance. You don't ask Kelly to play like Moss and you don't ask Moss to play like TO. If you are a good coach then you know how to use Moss and Kelly to take advantage of what they have to offer.
What does Joe Gibbs have to do with this? Joe Gibbs football requires Joe Gibbs talent, which we don't have. In fact, we didn't have Joe Gibbs talent when he was here the second time! And for Christ sake, can we just drop the whole Joe Gibbs this and Joe Gibbs that, it's really annoying. What good is stretching the field when a) you don't throw the damn ball more than 20 yrds to begin with and b) when you do, Moss doesn't catch the damn ball. I'm doubling down Vanna, f*ck Moss! |
Re: I'm So Done With...
I voted CP. He was a great complete back and gives it his all on Sundays but I'm just done w/ this team. He is the face of this team the last 1/2 decade and I'm done w/ it.
I'm done w/ ARE, JC, and Moss a little as well. |

Re: I'm So Done With...
I find it hard to get too upset with Moss at this point. We're a dink and dunk offense now, and when he does get his few deep shots JC always seems to overthrow him. I would like to see some more screens to get him involved. How many targets is he getting per game right now? I'm betting not too many. He's a Cowboy killer I hope we can get him going this week.

Cowboy killer for real. If anyone should get up for this game, Tannaman should. |
Rogers for me, easy choice. No tolerance for quitters.
You're right! That is the worst thing a player can do. I should have voted Rogers. |

If we were a good team Id definitely want him here. But we are bad and need to rebuild. He's the face of the franchise, and this franchise needs a facelift. |
Re: I'm So Done With...
Clinton Portis = Shaun Alexander
Portis is a broke down back. Every good back hits the wall at some time. Portis has slammed into his. |

He's crap as a punt returner, and his contract is way too high. But he plays hard, is a good locker-room guy, runs strong routes, and is an effective slot receiver. Are we probably better off with him gone and moving forward with Kelly, Thomas, and Mitchell? Perhaps But he's not a guy I'm anxious to see go just to see him go. |

Alexander is an AP type. After a couple more years you will see AP look like Mr. Softee. You might not like Portis having an I am above the team attitude. You wasn't complaining when Portis was carrying the team to the playoffs. taking a ass whooping in the process. You can call Portis alot of things, but you can not call him Mr. Softee. Perhaps But he's not a guy I'm anxious to see go just to see him go.
Yeah, Ive heard he is a really great locker room guy which is important. And really it was a toss up between him, Portis and Rogers. I would say the least cut-able at this point is Moss and Laron. I think Laron value would increase in another scheme (which the likelyhood of Blache returning is low at this point). On an offense with no playmakers, Moss is all we have. I actually would rather have Moss in the slot at this point, with a reliable vet WR at his spot and one of the following to step up: Thomas/Kelly/Marko at the other starting position for next season. I think our WR position over the past decade has really lacked. We always have one solid starter, but we can never get two solid guys on the field at the sametime. Moss really catches alot of grief b/c of the overall production of WR, which I think is a little unfair. Rogers is gone reagardless at this point. Portis is showing all the signs of a career winding down. |
Re: I'm So Done With...
I think the poll would be more effective if we were to pick the one player on that list we WEREN'T done with. I picked Rogers, but i'm also completely done with Portis, ARE, Campbell, and getting there with Landry. I'm indifferent to Moss.

Re: I'm So Done With...
Portis. Crybaby diva who thinks he's too good for pre season, doesn't want to practice, doesn't train hard during the off season, rips teammates and has the owners ear. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

Re: I'm So Done With...
im done with several of those. portis, rogers, and landry id really like to see all gone. campbell, we will see. moss, he is still our best receiver. randle-el, he is starting to serve some purpose, couldnt care less if he left or stayed.

Re: I'm So Done With...
Carlos easily.
|
Re: I'm So Done With...
This is way too easy for me......Carlos, Carlos, Carlos. Lately this guy has been playing with no heart, no desire and after being a starting CB in this league for almost 5 yrs now he still gets burnt on double moves. He just doesn't care and to me thats just downright inexcusable. Plus its kinda stupid when you're on your contract year and you're looking to get paid next year. Who in the hell is his agent and why hasn't he given some good advice like: Play your ass off and keep your damn mouth shut. Whats so hard about that?
So done with him. |
Re: I'm So Done With...
Carlos is who I picked because he doesn't seem to care and in that case I don't either.

Actually I'm definitely with you on that one. It was beyond stupid. |
Re: I'm So Done With...
I can not support a player that does not give max effort on the field and doesn't seem to want to be here. Carlos Rogers
|
Re: I'm So Done With...
Santana Moss needs more votes.

Did he offer any explanation on that. I was ticked when he did it, but then I thought he might be trying to get Landry's head in the game? I didn't ever see an explanation one way or the other. |
Re: I'm So Done With...
Jason Campbell: Actually think he could be a decent QB so I'd keep him. He could at least be in a Drew Brees/Philip Rivers situation next year.
Laron Landry: Keep, he has shown he can play, having an off year, but still young. Santana Moss: I like Moss, but his effort has been questionable the past few weeks...I think we need to get rid of all the "think they are superstars cause they are paid like it" guys, but I wouldn't mind if Moss stuck around. Clinton Portis: I hope he never puts on a Redskins jersey again Antwaan Randle-El: I like him, he is a pretty good receiver, but its time to play the young guys and see what they can do....bye ARE. Carlos Rogers: Don't let the door hit you. Another "me" player and quite possibly has the worst hands of any player in NFL history |
Re: I'm So Done With...
Im going with Landry because he is the only player i could see getting some decent picks for.
|
Re: I'm So Done With...
I voted Clinton Portis. Not on the grounds that I am angry at him because the guy gives 150% but on the grounds that he is holding our offense back. We certainly look better with Betts in there so his non-practice routine is detrimental in terms of our chemistry & execution of our offense cause Betts is practicing it everyday and Portis expects to execute it on Sundays.
Also, it is not good for team cohesion to train and practice all week while one or 2 superstars sit and drink koolaid and then come in and start ahead of those that have busted their butts off during the week. I bet those o-linemen resent that fact that Portis doesn't practice his cuts and running lanes with them but gets angry & disses the line on Sunday when things go wrong. I know I would if he did that. However, the player I'm angry at and would like to see gone is Carlos Rogers. The guy doesn't care. Last year he made similar overtones when he got benched and again last week. He sounds and plays like a quitter. If he wants out, I'm fine with that. I rather settle for a 3rd compensatory pick by letting him go than him sulking around Redskin Park and deliberately giving up on coverage and wasting our great defensive efforts. |
Re: I'm So Done With...
I voted ARE but as a return man. Im tired of watching him fair catch dang near every time, i cant remember the last time he made a good return.
|
Re: I'm So Done With...
Rogers and Landry (can I vote twice?)
For the talent these guys supposedly have, they make almost no big plays. Say what you will about Hall, but at least he makes an occasional play that can turn a game around. Hall has as many INTs in his first 16 games here (6) as Rogers has in his career!!! Landry has TWO interceptions in 41 starts. When you draft DBs in the Top 10 as we did with Rogers and Landry, they must be playmakers, but these two are pretty much invisible. |

Portis. I wouldn't exactly call him a cancer but he's one hell of a bad rash.
