Nice!, I'm glad i'm not the only draft junkie.
I really like the Antoine Caldwell OL he's versatile..

My 2nd day 'Redskins' draft board:

Jonathan Luigs C
Jasper Brinkley LB
Rashard Jennings RB
Garret Reynolds OL
Donald Washington CB
Morgan Trent CB
Johnny Knox WR/PR/KR
Joshua Mauga LB
Kaluka Maiava LB
Moises Fokou OLB (Go Terps!)
Jason Williams OLB
Cedric Dockery G (Doc's lil Bro)
Any Maryland OL- Jaimie Thomas/ Scott Burely
Macho Harris CB
Wompami Osaisai CB/ST
Marcus Mailei -FB

If they really do go by BPA then Duke Robinson or Antoine Caldwell should be the pick. Both would at the very least would give us quality depth inside. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they took Javon Ringer.
I can't believe Javon Ringer is still out there, he would be a great value pick
1. D.J Moore CB from Vanderbilt. Undersized, but puts up the numbers, would be nice to back up Smoot/Rogers. And he can return kicks/punts.
2.Jamon Meredith - OT South Carolina, best available.
3.Duke Robinson - OG Oklahoma, 330 lb gaurd
4. Lawrence Sidbury - DE/OLB Richmond, possible OLB?
I completely forgot that D.J. Moore was still out there he would be another great value pick.

I really think we need to come out of the second day with:

versatile OL that can be active on game day he would need to be able to back-up as many OL spots as possible

A LB for depth who could play in a pinch

A CB you can never too many good corners and imo Smoot and Tryon are huge question marks

hopefully coaches Gray/Jackson can find another late round steal

I think linebacker is now a huge need -- Fletcher may have just a season or two left, Rocky so far has been ho-hum, and Marcus Washington was a starter who shouldn't have been and is now gone. After that there's H.B. Blades, (who can play but needs to develop) and Alfred Fincher. Then there two guys named Tyson Smith and Rian Wallace.

Forget depth, we need starters at linebacker.

Re: Who do you take in round 3? (Wish List)

Here's a question: if we go by the 'best player available' philosophy -- what happens if there's a safety sitting there?

Do we take the best rated safety with Landry and Horton?

I think we can BPA at a position of need. We have enough needs we wont be reaching.

If we go safety at 80 , I might drink a beem -n- seven ,,,, only because we need OL and LB .

I don't know bro, Blades played there often last year and was decent.
Chris Wilson is moving back to OLB a position he's played in college and in the CFL.

The reason why i say for depth is because i think we should go after a OL in the 3rd round and the chances of finding a starting LB after the 3rd are slim.

Re: Who do you take in round 3? (Wish List)

JAMON MEREDITH - OT SOUTH CAROLINA Scouts Grade: 79

Overall Football Traits

Production 2 Meredith appeared in just one game and NCAA later granted him a red shirt year with the stipulation that he sit out the first two games of the 2008 season. He started four games at right tackle in 2005. Meredith started all 13 games seven at right tackle and six at left tackle in 2006. He started all 12 games at left tackle in 2007. Meredith started nine of the 11 games he appeared in during the 2008 season and lined up at left tackle and left guard.

Height-Weight-Speed 2 Adequate bulk, adequate height and above-average top-end speed.

Durability 2 Injured ankle during 2008 preseason and re-injured it later in the year. Ankle injury limited him in three games but he didn't miss any games.

Character 1 Presented the Andrew Sorensen Scholar-Athlete Award for Football during the 2006 spring game. Named the Outstanding Offensive Lineman in the spring of 2007. An ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District selection in 2007. Earned the Harold White GPA Award for the offense in the spring of 2008. Graduated with a degree in Sports Management and a 3.7 GPA in August of 2008. Has shown a willingness to line up at different positions.

Offensive Tackle specific Traits

Strength/Toughness 3 Plays with an edge, appears to have adequate lower body strength and flashes the ability to finish blocks though inconsistent in this area. Shows above-average upper body strength in the weight room but rarely delivers a violent initial punch.

Agility 2 Overall agility is not elite but better than average. A quick, balanced athlete with good lateral mobility for size.

Awareness 2 Excellent experience playing at the highest collegiate level. Knows assignments and rarely shows hesitation. Especially skilled at recognizing blitzes/stunts in pass protection.

Pass Protection 2 Gets set quickly and gets excellent hand placement. Adequate arm length, locks arms out and can ride edge rushers past the pocket. Good balance and shows above-average body control but overextends on occasion and going to have a harder time recovering at the NFL level than did at the collegiate level. Doesn't always sink hips low enough and struggles to anchor working against powerful bull rushers.

Run Blocking 3 Rarely takes false steps and generally gets into excellent initial position but doesn't always stay lowing coming out of stance and has some problems rooting defenders off the ball when plays too high. Takes sound angles to downfield blocks and flashes the ability to get into position at the second level. However, base narrows and doesn't show the same body control in space as he does in the short area so he has some problems sustaining downfield blocks.

Trait Scale
1 = Exceptional 2 = Above average 3 = Average 4 = Below average 5 = Marginal

What LB do you want if Caldwell or whichever OL you want gets taken?

Shipley will be there in the 5th or 6th.

Duke Robinson should be the guy.
