Take a look at the type of money these guys are getting. Vinny Cerrato is right the coin these guys are getting is ridiculous. Thats why we don't go after Berrian, whos considered the best FA WR besides Moss.
I meant that in reference to the Bucs, not us. The Bucs are interested in D.J. Hackett and Drayton Florence, two guys that were high on our list, which seems to be pretty short, so I was saying why can't the Bucs, who have tons of cap room, spend frivolously on other FAs besides the select few we've targeted.

I should've quoted Gtripp. It would've made more sense if you didn't read the posts leading up to my comment. I'll edit it.
Is it just me or does it look like our free agent targets like Hackett will likely be gone.
The Skins have ZERO free agent meeting set up....ZERO.

I would like them to at least try to get him...
Maybe they think his price will come down later...but it looks more and more that the Skins will not be pursuing early free agent...just depth much later
I think the strategy is to swoop in at the last minute if the price is right. They want to see what type of money the guys they're interested in are going to get tossed at them.

The funny thing about that is that the Buc's have to spend to reach the Salary cap floor so theres a good chance. Lol, never knew there was such a thing as a salary cap thrill. But yeah, your right we do have a very short list of Free Agents so all of a sudden CB or WR become a lot more likely in the 1st round.

It looks like Drayton is going be a Jaguar. 'Ol GW snatched him away from Snyderato.

Apparently he's getting a pretty huge deal there. Let's see how much it actually is.

Then again, I don't think he's actually signed so there is still hope.

i'd like to see the skins sign algie krumpler and place him on the opposite as cooley.that would be one hell of a combo.maybe they could sign colvin and maybe booger mcfarland to one year deals.and hey, give lavar another look, and leonard davis too!i'm just wondering who the 3rd string qb is gonna be?

Everything you said lost all credibility when you mentioned LaVar

And, again, it's Facenda (not Fracenda)
Yeah, but you're talking about a guy who had the starters job handed to him on a silver platter, and got beaten out by Bo Scaife, and I'm talking about a guy who has waited behind Tony Gonzalez for 4 years.
you mean gonzalez and dunn (who's not even as good a #2 as ben troupe).

I'd take Kelly and Hackett with open arms. Faine is gone, but Rabach is good enough, and I'll pass on the other two, espcially Brunell.
you mean gonzalez and dunn (who's not even as good a #2 as ben troupe).
Yeah, but for all intents and purposes, Dunn was playing a different position in the offense than Gonzo. If Gonzo had missed a week, it would have been Wilson who took his place, because of Dunn's limited availability in the receving game.

Speaking of that though, Dunn is a free agent.

Re: The 6 Million Dollar Shopping Spree

What about this possible Lito Sheppard/Larry Fitzgerald swap? That would really suck for us. The Iggles would be right in the mix again with that move.

Also, why is a third of the league interested in Javon Walker, including the Skins?

Walker is pretty good when healthy.

Yeah, it's been a long time since he's been healthy though.

He was healthy in 2006.

He's been hurt in 2 of his 6 seasons.

My bad. I didn't realize he had one solid season with the Broncos. I thought he came over from GB started off strong and got hurt again.
