Yeah, his bad game was not so bad. He didn’t even play the last 12:30 and still had solid numbers. And the deep ball is a real threat now and not with just Terry.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I was watching son-in-law compete in triathlon today and didn’t get to see any of the game, had ESPN game cast on while I was driving home, saw Mariotta in the game with over 12 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, and it scared the crap out of me! I thought Daniel’s had to have been hurt, I know we were up pretty good but I haven’t seen a coach pull a starting quarterback with that much time left in the fourth quarter maybe never this early in a season. Seen coaches do it before at the end of the season when the playoffs were a sure thing, but I don’t remember ever seeing it done before this early in a season. I don’t have a problem with it at all, it just scared the shit out of me |

That was an absolute team victory. Hats off to the staff. Hats off to Peters. I did not see this coming so soon. Amazing what a difference it makes without Snyder’s stink around. It still smelled like him last year. This is exhilarating.

Pass rush was showing more today and at AZ. Sprinkle in Luvu and Wagner along with a stud new qb equate to highly improved team. Love it. Transformational offseason.

I don’t remember when this team was just the better team most weeks.
Excited to see how they compete against playoff teams. |
Re: Month Straight of Victories Post-game Thread
It's a strange new world we live in. Not used to being universally praised or having one of the top qb's in the league.

wtf has happened to Watson? he is horrible. i can't imagine that clev is going to keep going w/ him too much longer.

Do they have a choice with that contract? Taught every GM in the league a lesson... |

I'd bench him and put in Winston. He was missing routine throws. He just doesn't look like the same guy at all. |
Had to watch it on my phone but 4-1 folks!! This is more exciting than 2012 for me
How do you watch on your phone? We had a trip planned for Sunday, our anniversary. I implied last night that I wanted to leave the next day so I could watch the game. It's an ongoing negotiation but this could solve the problem. Edit: I'm not tech savy but I once watched live TV from my tablet. I am on the Infinity Help Desk Chat. The person just asked me if I take my cable box with me when I travel. I'm not kidding. |
Re: Month Straight of Victories Post-game Thread
Back on topic Eckler had always been one of my favorite players in the league, I knew that was a good signing. Biadesz was the most important signing, he has totally changed the OL and we all knew Luvu was an impact player.
This was the first test for the offense. The Browns have an excellent defense and they were taking away the plays that we had run with success. Jayden looked human, it was bound to happen, and they STILL hung up 34 points in 3 quarters. |
Re: Month Straight of Victories Post-game Thread
I was nervous about this game (and the Bengals game and the Cardinals game). I figured this would be Watson's get right game and their defense would be too much - a back down to earth game for JD... I was wrong.
Their defense is legit, but we overcame and Watson is just terrible. Our defense had something to do with that too, though... Honestly, after five weeks, I'm not nervous about any team on the remainder of the schedule, and I expect us to beat the Ravens this week. Initially, I projected 10 wins for this team, but that may have been too low. It would be insane to predict us to win out, but barring an injury to JD, we should be in every single game. |
Re: Month Straight of Victories Post-game Thread
Pretty crazy that an off day for our offense still means 34 points and over 200 yards rushing.
Kingsbury is cooking. |
Re: Month Straight of Victories Post-game Thread
I'm going to miss my mid-season 202x NFL mock draft post. We're going to be in this race all season for the division. At this point, if we didn't make the playoffs altogether, it would be a huge disappointment.
7 home games left still. 9 games probably gets you in the playoffs. 10 is a lock. 6-6 the rest of the way puts us at 10 wins. |
