Not gonna be surprised if Fried and Wright don't pitch again all season. Pretty fucking shitty, considering how great of a season the Braves are having. Gonna be hard to maintain w/o those 2.

It's always weird when someone can be so immensely talented but at the same time have a body that just can't stay healthy. He's still won Cy Young's and has had a good career. But if he wasn't hurt all the time he could be one of the best pitchers in MLB history.

Hopefully for his sake and the Rangers, he can come back and have at least a couple more good seasons.

Injuries freaking suck. Him not pitching is bad for the game.

How about those Mets? Spending all that money and they're under 500. How much is Verlander and Max making combined? You just can't invest that kind of cash into two guys that are in their 40's.

Fucking brutal series if you're a Mets fan. A 3-run lead in all 3 games, and you lose all 3, with the final game being the worst. They are fucked pitching wise. Their starters can barely get through 5 innings, if that, and they don't have the bullpen arms to regularly/effectively cover 4+ innings every night.

On our end, Strider was concerning last night. Velocity was down a couple ticks. And he just pitched like shit in general.
