Re: Around the NFL Week 18
SF has won an impressive nine games in a row. Since Purdy became the starter, the are averaging over 32 points per game while allowing 21. However, they gave up 34 points against Stidham's Raiders... That's concerning if I'm Kyle.
GB has won four in a row averaging over 29 points per game while allowing only 17. DET has won three of their last four averaging over 29 points per game while allowing just over 21. While DET beat GB in week 9 (15-9), I am going with GB this weekend, and I would not sleep on them in these playoffs. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 18
The rumor is the NFL is considering adding an 8th seed to each Conference this year to make up for the Bills Bengals issue. We would still be alive lol

Just a question, what if that game ended in a tie? Would they still do that? |

RR: Hey Sam, you got a minute? SH: Sure Coach, what's up? RR: You forgot this yesterday. SH: What is it? RR: It's your clipboard. SH: 'sigh'... Ok, well thanks for almost giving me an opportunity Coach. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 18
I know a man's life is more important than anything, and I know Skip Bayless got roasted for asking out loud the question pretty much every body was asking themselves a bit too soon...
But now that the discussion is on the table: what do you guys think about this 8 teams playoffs solution becoming the most likely ? I don't have a definitive opinion. I didn't think the suppression of the bye week before the SB was that bad of an option. But I still like this 8 teams option better than determining seed randomly or with winning percentage. |

Call it a tie and go from there. Any AFC teams complaining about a situation that came from a player dying on the field, and miraculously being saved, can STFU. I don't understand why some mediocre team gets added to the playoffs because 2 legitimate playoff teams didn't get to finish their game due to a 1 in a million chance outside of everyone's control. |

Re: Around the NFL Week 18
If the game was played and Buffalo won they would be number 1 seed and have a bye. No reschedule and they are likely the 2 seed and no bye. I think that is a legitimate issue. But if Buffalo has no interest in a reschedule then they must be content with 2 seed?

So it will effect Buffalo only? That's the best case scenario. Not because they deserve anything bad to happen to them because of what happened to Hamlin. But solely to make it have the smallest impact as possible on the league as a whole. They'll still smoke the 1st team they play. But will hurt them in the championship round if Kansas City wins their divisional round game. There is no perfect solution. And there can't be to such an unprecedented situation. Adding an 8th team would eliminate the bye for 2 teams. |
