They're not firing Staley after 1 9-8 season and him taking them within 1 FG (or timeout?) of the playoffs, no matter how dumb some of his calls have been. Given he has almost all the pieces in place for a good run at the playoffs next season, if he screws that up he'll be toast. I'd say disaster is a bit strong (just look at Jax), but yes, he should be on the hot seat if he can't get 2+ more wins next year.
