I just dont want to get my hopes up about the playoffs with this team, Its crazy they are even alive still to be honest but lets focus on ten tomorrow first
I'm the one who posted the Way too early division champ poll. I always get my hopes up, but expect them to be dashed. :( |
Re: Around the NFL Week 16
There is an improbable scenario where the vikings are the 6th seed playing Chicago and we are the 5th seed playing Dallas. It is based on us winning out, Seattle losing out (to KC AND ARI) and the Vikings splitting their last two (pretty likely actually). That would be a crazy end to the season. Or even better Dallas losing out, us winning out, and playing Minnesota at fedex in the first round
edit: also a great weekend for us includes the Skins winning obviously, Seattle losing - damn near a must - and then the following are bonus help Philly losing to Houston - I think that is likely Vikings losing to Detroit - highly unlikely and finally to make the last weekend REALLY interesting Dallas losing to Tampa - very very unlikely
That is contingent on Chicago taking care of business this week. If for some reason they lose there is no incentive for them to play starters week 17. |

Laugh all you want, but I would not be surprised if the 49ers win on Sunday against the bears. Niners have been playing pretty good the last 2 weeks. |

Yes they have and Mullens is playing for a starting job. |

And I’m sure Kyle is aware that he somehow can eliminate the Redskins playoff hopes, is not like the Redskins can do that themselves. |

Even if the Bears lose (I doubt they will) they would still want to play hard.. That whole resting starters in week 17 stuff is overrated imo. |

Not really, Vikings with KC are as likely to split the games regardless, and if the networks flex the Bears Vikings game then KC's primetime record against teams with a winning record becomes a factor. It's mostly contingent on us winning out. Obviously a questionable scenario. Glad our game is the first game of the weekend. If we lose, I know I'm done with football over Christmas/NewYears |

I could see them resting Tribulsky since he has been hurt. |

If Shanahan is coaching based on the Redskins making a 6th seed playoff birth, he won't be in his job much longer. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 16
I found another god awful scenario that actually involves the Redskins having a home game.
Imagine the Skins winning out, Dallas losing out, and Seattle claiming the 5th seed Nightmares on Elm Street Batman!! Die Harder Still!! Thanos kill us Now!!!!! We would host Seattle for the divisional playoff. Gruden would need 4 backup qb's on the roster and they should just close fedex and play in front of an empty stadium with crowd noise piped in. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 16
Yes, Bill Belicheck is the greatest Head Football coach ,ever and he has the resume to back it up . I like Gibbs and have always said so but even the BB haters have to admit he is the best. To win 5 super bowls, got to 8 super Bowls and that is not counting the two super bowls he won as the DC of another team. He is easy not to like and that part I get but you can't argue his record.
https://www.pro-football-reference.com/coaches/BeliBi0.htm
Not sure why people hate on BB so much. I've never seen him do anything other then not liking to do interviews or dealing with the media. I know its part of the job but I like how he bucks the system. |

Or instruct spying on other teams? He’s kind of a douche for bending and breaking rules.

This. For the record, Brady is a top 3 QB all time and had multiple “Holy Fuck this guy is amazing” seasons. I attribute most championships to his play at QB...like 75% Brady 25% Belichick |

LOL, sorry any one would think he is super man if he coached their team. I still say it's hate due to jealousy. |
Re: Around the NFL Week 16
Back to week 16....
Which game is your must see if you could only watch the Skins and one other game? I think Chiefs Seahawks would be mine |
