My SV moment was Lauvao starting day one without a valid replacement.
This has been rubbing me raw from day one.

My second SV Moment was getting to week 8 with Preston Smith having ZERO sacks.
I know I'm hard on the guy but you can't have a starting Edge Rusher without a sack for that long.

You would think that would help keep the sand out of your vag [emoji848]

I keep shoveling it out and the Skins just keep shoving it back in.

my SV moment of the year was the Alex Smith trade...

Left Guard inaction was probably a close second...

My vag is sandy over the Alex Smith leg injury. What a devastating injury, not just for us, but especially for him. At this point I hope he recovers his normal range of function.

Also yeah Lauvao starting the year with no backup was just a terrible idea all around.

Considering the new on AS injury, it looks like Bruce hit us with a 50Mil cap penalty for the next 2 years.

If someone has a career ending injury, I don't understand why that should count against the cap. I see why he gets paid but I don't understand punishing the team. Think anyone wanted that nasty ass injury to happen?

my whole thing with the Alex Smith trade when it happened was...we've seen this movie before from Bruce and Danny...knee jerk-as-fuck. And the contract extension was pretty horrible with a QB of that age.

I agree to an extent but some things are relative. Take Sua Cravens he had career ending head trauma. Doctors told him he should walk a way and he did. Could he keep playing for sure but at the risk of further brain damage.

I can understand the reasoning. It keeps teams from offering unrealistic contracts to older players or those coming off of injuries. It forces the team to assume the risk. Just think what would happen if a retirement or injury could be used to void a contract as far as the cap hit was concerned. You would have teams offering 10 year deals to 39 year old quarterbacks.

This isn't correct.
He quit on the team.
It was only when the team asked to get some of his signing bonus back did he start complaining of concussion issues.

He is currently playing for the Broncos.

Yeah, that makes sense. But the risk is there without the cap hit. They still have to pay him out the 50 million or whatever it is. Companies don't make a habbit of liking that. Good thing the rookie QB scale is there. Gonna have to have a rookie. Can't afford to sign any good FA.
5-2 turning into 6-6 and everything that caused it. At 5-2 they were finding ways to win games and if the offense came around a little they looked like they could make a little noise in the play-offs, then the wheels came off the wagon and it went off a cliff.
At 5-2 I actually started to think we could be a serious playoff threat with the Defense, then... The redskins redskined and we all got brought back to earth.
