Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
The second clip in this video is why I like having FG in the game. BTW the first clip is always a great watch.

Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
I definitely don't want to see the field goal taken out of the game, however, eliminating the extra point is an interesting prospect to me. Force them to go for 2, but can hit for 3 whenever you want.

Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
Skip bayless got what espn wanted. Everyone talking about it.

Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
Those two Dallas games are my favorites. Both magical in very different ways. And yes it makes me miss ST again.

Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
skip thinks he's like gods gift to sports. HE actually thinks players really care about his opinions....

Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
I think extra points should be eliminated. It should simply be you score that's 7 points you want to go for two it becomes going for one hence the extra point.
Field goals are some of the best moments in football history. Those stay. |
I don't see the question here. Field goals are here to stay and Bayless is a fool. All of this is known already.
This. Echo. Ditto. What he said. See above. The next thing that Bayless says that will have any relevance is 'I quit.' |
Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
Keep chipping away the game it will no longer be the NFL. So much strategy is put into the game because of the Field Goal. Nothing beats the suspense of a close game in the 4th like the negotiation of a game winning Field Goal. Keep the Field Goals!

I'm guessing ton of sweep plays haha. |
Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
Field goals have been such a part of the NFL for decades...to remove the FG now would be much a stupid thing to do....all of the game winning field goals that have been made in NFL history and those FGs that were missed that had cost NFL teams close games. It's has been and always should be apart of football on every level.

Re: Field Goals Yes or No?
Since it's called football, just seems right that some kicking should be involved.

I'd like to see the hash marks widened again, like they used to be or in college. I wonder if that would help or hurt us the play after Griffin runs out of bounds. A short field 1 way but more room the other way... |
