Good read on him, and they actually suggest the skins. He is what we need right now, but not long term. Plus some motivation for contract again, and he gets to face the eagles again also.

Bottom line is he can rush the passer better than anyone we currenly have. He's probably not a good fit as a full time player, but as a 3rd down pass rusher? I'd take him if the price is right.

Agreed that's what i was trying to say. If we don't get him it's fine. But he's the pass rush we re lacking right now

He wasn't even the pass rusher that Philly lacked in a scheme that did fit, so why do you think he's going to be the pass rusher we need in a scheme that doesn't fit?

He had ONE very good year. Rest of his career has be mediocre to below average.

He is third in the nfl in sacks the past 3 years behind ware and Jared allen. That speaks for itself. Nfl players rate him in the top 100. That also speaks highly.

5.5 sacks this season, would be 2nd on our team.
2 forced fumbles this season, would also be 2nd on our team.

perry riley is 2nd on our team this season w 2 sacks.
bunch of guys tied for 2nd on our team w 1 forced fumble.

nobody is saying he's not a one trick pony.

all i'm saying is 5.5 sacks > 2 sacks, and 2 forced fumbles is > 1 forced fumble.
