I think he's a case of tremendous athletic ability but not a great football player, he's not ranked in the top 5 amoung LB's anywhere.

maybe the transistion in player can go from linebacker to safety and vice versa if the player is right. I say this cuz wasn't urlacher originally a safety in college and the bears turned him into their MLB. I'm getting more and more intrigued by the possibility of trading down, drafting a d-lineman with our new 1st rounder, and then using our new 2nd rounder(if thats what we can get) for boulware and having him move to FS. then we'd have the young impact d-lineman everyone is looking for us to have as well as a very fast safety that lays the lumber like a linebacker. don't sound too bad to me. either drafting taylor, winslow, or this scenario would be :biggthump

the prob. with that is if the guy hasen't shown good instinct's at LB which is a position he should be comfortable with, how will he be able to make the transition to saftey which he is not famaliar with?

On my board he's the best LB in the draft. I know that sounds crazy to most people, but that's what I have come to believe. We'll see if I'm right or wrong in a few years.

I was looking at the thread about the Portis deal and I decided to look back at some of my old posts/threads. I'm far from right in many cases, but in this instance.....I think I deserve some credit.

Maybe this year I'll get to look at some of MY archives. I think I joined at around Christmastime last year.
