Rocca did have a good outing...I just don't understand why he didn't punt that ball out of bounds at the end. I mean, I would hope that he doesn't do that during the regular season. Although the entire 3rd team seemed to be running at slow motion during the 4th quarter.
Yeah, I don't either, but as long as he learns from it and doesn't do it in the regular season it's fine.

The only thing I can think of is that maybe they asked him to punt it like that to see what the scrubs have to show for in a situation where the game is on the line. I say this because I think Gano kicked a short kickoff, which allowed the return guy to actually return the ball.

Kerrigan has looked better than Orakpo did when he was a rookie going through the same.. These two could become a force for the defense for many years..

I think that's the case as well. We won't know because we're not privy to the coach/player instructions, but I think that's the case. They might've just wanted something on film to teach players from.

Damn the sound of that makes me smile! And the "mauling" of Ray Lewis by TW was awesome! Lot's of studs in this game. I'm gonna like this weekly thread. :)

John Beck's attitude is something I'd consider as a "stud". Keeping himself well-prepared by treating every practice as important as a game, studying, etc. I'd definitely be comfortable with a guy like that as a backup or starter.

Austin (mofo catches everything)
Hightower (he looks like AP out there...i am going to pick him up for my FF team)
Hall (nice pick 6, ok game)

Totally agree. He's very intelligent and well-spoken, seems to have a fantastic attitude and disposition, and definitely seems to have the kind of intangibles you want in a QB.

I'm far less glad that it's come to the point where a legitimate talent evaluator might conclude that the Redskins are smart to name John Beck their starter, but I'm ready to conclude that his acquisition, at this time in 2010, was a success.

You have to add Stephen Bowen. The man has been a beast all preseason. I wonder if that is the lineman Malcom is talking about? He gets pressure, moves the pocket, and has gotten to the QB.

Darrion Scott #93. Reserve stud who looked good against Balt. He gives us some nice depth. Were you thinking of him Malcolm?

Keyaron Fox didn't do too badly filling in for Fletch.

agreed

Was not that impressed with Fox. I thought he made quite a few mistakes and the first touchdown (I believe) was a rushing touchdown where he had a chance to make a clean tackle at the 3 yrd line and he got bowled over.
