If someone signs, a new thread should definitely go up.

I like the idea of breaking the general FA talk down into weekly threads so we don't end up with giant cluster F's.

Yeah the weekly thing seems like a good idea to try out. Maybe we can have the dates in the thread titles?

Dude. I am serious, every one of my 4700+ posts has been of earth shattering importance, they have added deep, thoughtful dialog to this small websphere. I am awesome, always!

Now where's that snob thread again

The ideas you guys have sound good. Separating by day or week would keep it from getting too big. Then of course you don't get the headline type action I like so much, but at least I wouldn't have to sift through an unmanageably large thread.

SS's idea seems pretty common-sense oriented. Basically start a thread if it's news worthy. If you fail to recognize what's news-worthy, you get Schneed declaring Retarded Thread, and it gets locked.

Locking retarded threads and cleaning up clutter is work though, so I understand if you want to keep it lower maintenance. Whatever you guys decide to do is cool with me, I'll be here no matter what. Thanks for considering.
