I hope this is not foreshadowing, but the last time I was this excited was in 2006, with Saunders new offense, against Minnesota. Pierson Prioleau got hurt on the opening kickoff. We lost that game, and went 5-11. :( I expect MUCH better results tomorrow and this season! |
Re: Very excited to see what we do against the Giants
We all know that the NFC East is going to be very tough this year. The Giants are 1 year off a Super Bowl win. The Eagles made it to the NFC Championship game. The Cowboys had a 13-3 season a season ago, and has numerous pro bowl players. Our team (Redskins) has the same offense installed for 2 stright season. Our defense was 4th rated defense, plus adding Haynesworth and Orakpo. 2008 Rookie class looks much improved in preseason. So yea Im expecting the Redskins to make some noise this season and surprise all the analyist who predicted us to come in last in the NFC East.
