But anyhow, maybe next time I see Matich hanging around my office I'll ask him about it

But seriously...this kind of reminded me of the time Brunell got pissed at Czaban when Czabe asked him if he would offer to basically bench himself for the good of the team. But anyway, Blache basically put it out there when he said several years ago that "sacks were overrated" and our pass rush has been suspect so, like it or not, he's going to get questions about our pass rush and how he plans on addressing it. And he's not the reporter asking the questions, so he doesn't have to "throw questions" back at Matich
That was the part I didn't like. He tried to make Matich look dumb. I know it was just a heated moment thing but he could have just gotten mad and said so instead of making it a little too personal.

I saw it on CSN and it was akward. I felt for Matich because I worked with the public for 10 years. In that situation Blache could say pretty much anything he wanted without far of losing his job where Matich was handcuffed by doing his job.

It was much like when I was a desk clerk back i nthe day at a hotel people would treat me like crap and I could not say crap back because I would lose my job.

What would Blache say if Danny asked that question? I am sure it would have been a diffrent answer. Basically I feel like Blache threw a suckers punch because he knew that MAtich could not hit back.

I thought Matich handled it well. Blache has been answering the same questions about sacks for many years and I'm sure he's tired of hearing it but there's a reason he hears it so much. He heard the same type of questions in Chicago. If his teams got more pressure on the QB's and could stop third and long a little more often he wouldn't get so many questions about why there isn't any.

Not that big of a deal. Probably will not happen again. We've all seen worse.

I think Blache should remember that he's not speaking to some pencil-neck reporter.

Matich got pushed around like a little girl in the NFL. Id bet that Blache could take care of himself. :)

Weird interaction. I think it was a legitimate question, and one that should be expected. His reaction was a little overboard, but he's a football coach...

No big deal. Just kind of out of the blue and weird.

Trevor's a nice guy. Maybe there is something between them I don't know about.

Wow really this was blown out of proportion, while he did seem a little irritated. Todays pc era really doesnt allow much honest questions so you cant really fault the reporter. Seems like their is always an alterior motive as in a tv station that supports and reports on the team. So was nice to see some answers that were on his mind.

No big deal here. It was right after a game and sometimes emotions are running high. If you asked Blache this question today he probably would be a little more chill.

Luckly Tanner Cooley didn't ask him the question.

No big deal. When I read the thread title I was expecting some f bombs or something. Or at least yelling. Blache was a little defensive but I can understand why a guy would get frustrated. Ithink it was a little over blown. Next subject time to move on.
