It seems like a lot of people are getting way too upset about [B]the[/B] most subjective rating system ever. Who cares what the power rankings say? Especially now?

20th seems about right to me. The Skins are definitely a bottom 50% team but they are at the top end of the bottom.

20th is a tad low, but it's a pre training camp poll so who cares. Now after we whup the Giants in week one (I am gonna go on record now a 28-10 -including a DHall pick, a DT TD, and some other goodies too) we better be ranked much higher.

20th is about right IMO. I don't think we could be much higher than 15 at this point. Mark Shlereth said 8-8 at the beginning of last year because there were "too many questions." I think it's the same this year. RT & QB play, + JZ's progression as a head coach are some of the variables that at present are largely unknown.

I love JC & think he'll have a good year, but I can't blame the talking heads for playing it safe & predicting another middle of the pack season.

Yeah, i would guess 8-8 gets you about a 15 or 16. These are power rankings before preseason, before training camp. It's a little crazy if you ask me.

Uh, since the NFL has an actual playoff in place, and not the BCS, I could give a damn about power rankings. As long as we're near the top of the standings, power rankings writers can pound sand.
