At least we're far and away from becoming ES. I'm reading a thread over there right now about zodiac signs and how they relate to Zorn
I've often thought that the problem with the Skins offense was not enough Taurus energy. They should stop doing drills at Redskins Park and just burn some sage. :) |

If it will help the offense, I will be glad to take them some. :) |
Re: Brian Mitchell let go from ESPN 980
Since John Thompson lost both of his "sidekicks" in this "restructuring", it will be interesting to hear what he has to say - if anything.
I have had sporadic contact with Thompson over the last 30 years. Trust me on this one; if he has something he wants to say about this matter he will - - and he will not be concerned about who likes or does not like what he says. It is also quite possible that he does not have anything to add to this matter in which case he will say nothing. Monday's program should be very interesting... |
That and Six Flags, sooner or later the Danny will have to sell off some assets to stop some of the bleeding.
As I am sure others here will tell you the funds that pay for the players come from another account /fund. What the other poster and I were referring to is that Dan's wealth is all on paper, the Skins and the stadium are all assets but only on paper, with the way the market and real estate in general have taken a hit the net worth has gone down. Now if the Danny has leveraged anything he owns to buy stock or secure any other investments ....aka Stock in Zebra radio or Six Flaggs and those investments start to lose money .......technically he might have to sell off some assets, to cover those loans if they are ever call in. |
Re: Brian Mitchell let go from ESPN 980
Another egotistical move by Danny Boy. Look, I only know B-Mitch from Redskins Post Game Live. My take on B-Mitch is that he spoke the truth and just said things as they were. If the Redskins played well, he acknowledged it. If they played poorly, he reflected on all the mistakes they made. What's so bad about that?
Is he supposed to commend an owner (Dumb Snyder) and his sidekick (Dumber Cerrato) for mediocre achievement year after year? Maybe Danny can get his head out of his ass and realize that neither he (nor his sidekick) knows anything about football and should let football-minded people run the organization (i.e. GM). Stick to marketing which is more of your forte. So, now, with B-Mitch gone, we get to listen to a season of sugar-coated post game analysis. "Well, the Redskins lost 35-14, turned the ball over four times, commited 1,350 yards in stupid penalties, but they showed a lot of guts, fans." This organization is becoming such a joke! Excuse me, they're becoming a mediocre joke. 8-8 folks for the 2009 season. Mark my words! |

You can listen to The Junkies on 106.7fm or Comcast Sports Net. Plus Steve Czaban and Andy Pollin on the sports reports do not hold back on ripping the Redskins and neither does Doc Walker. |
Re: Brian Mitchell let go from ESPN 980
b mitch is right on some thing he says. but i think he goes overboard at times, maybe he still thinks he can play.if i rember right he never had any explosiveness at least while he was in our uniform.maybe he thinks he got a bad deal getting cut,and theres is probably a little jealousy of portis he hates clinton, but he is more negative than any thing, thats just my thought on the matter.i thought he nickled and dimed his way into 2 the record books.hell i dont know 2 much on him because he was just a disappiontment 2 me on and off the field.

Re: Brian Mitchell let go from ESPN 980
I really dont think it has anything to do with snyder personally. Its been mentioned but Al Koken was let go too. He is the most knowledgable hockey guy on 980 and really is not a snyder basher so I think its just all around cuts. Good luck to him

Thank you. I posted the same this on the first page but no one wants to read they just want to be emotional. And b-mitch honestly deserved it. He doesn't add any value to the network. I really wish he took CP up on that fight; B-mitch would be nothing less than hospitalized in about 2 minutes. |
