Re: Springs Released
ESPN980 just reported that Cerrato says Rogers will definitely be back AND we have room to make another FA signing and we are looking at offense now.
Glad to hear that, thanks for the info BHA. |
Re: Springs Released
I think Springs is still one of the top corners in the league when healthy. I really hope he does not go to Dallas.

Re: Springs Released
So will it be Dockery, Willis, Brown, or Stinchcomb?

As much as I'd like Dockery back, RT was a much bigger issue than LG. If we can do Dockery and Willis that would be ideal but I don't think we've got the cap room for that. Brown is likely signing with the Rams. |
Re: Springs Released
Would love to have Dockery back...
I think DD would be a great addition, and I hope he wants to come home to Buges. |
Re: Springs Released
dockery probably...

Re: Springs Released
I think this is a smart move. I really liked Springs and will miss him he was a beast when he played. Anyone remember the Game againt Dallas, when he shut down T.O. That was a thing of beauty.

Re: Springs Released
I, too, am sad to see Shawn Springs go... I really enjoyed watching him play... When healthy, I really think he is one of the top corners in the league, I'll hate to see him go... I too really hope he doesnt go to Dallas, but if I had to guess, I'd say he might end up there...

Dockery is a guard, not a tackle. |
Springs got a bad rap here, I'll miss him.
Not from me. He made our defense when he played. He'll be missed. Hall better be able to get the job done. |
Re: Springs Released
Thanks for the couple of games you played in and those few interceptions you didn't drop. :D
He had the potential to be a great corner for us, but couldn't stay healthy or committed I think. Physically, he looked huge for a CB, but somehow was fragile. I think it was more mental than physical. |

Dockery, PLEASE! |

I agree. We can mask deficiencies inside, at least keep JC from getting killed, but at RT we can't. JC will be dead unless we upgrade there. |
Re: Springs Released
Sign Dockery, Draft A. Smith for Right Tackle, then switch him with Samuels about 2 years down the line when he is getting better and Samuels is declining.

Re: Springs Released
Some JLC speculation about where Springs and Washington may end up...
