Sounds like a good deal for him and the team.

What's up with the thread police lately? Let the mods handle it. I don't see anything wrong with this thread and not every piece of news needs to be buried in one giant thread.

I personally don't think this was the issue, however having someone (who's a fan of another team) create a thread on a piece of news that wasn't that surprising was. Especially since this thread was created just for the hell of it and to probably piss off the rest of us. But you're the mod and I'm not so I respect your comment.

I agree 100% Ruhskins. With all our team frustrations, it did kind of piss me off. And I never requested a mod to shut it down. I was simply expressing my frustration and said if I was a mod I would lock it. Right now I wan't to hear about the good fortune of the Skins not the Giants or Dallas ect... I can read about the resigning of Jacobs anywhere at a later time. Plus who here really did'nt know that was coming.

I like Giantone, we have joked back and forth many times. The guy called me a closet Eagles fan here on our board and I played along. But I just felt this was a unnecessary thread with the wrong intentions.

Maybe Giantone was so excited he could'nt help himself. But if he thought we would enjoy the news there is a thread called "Redskins fans you might like this"

Anyway I have no choice but to respect Matty's take on it. But he knows how much I hate the Giants.

Maybe i can explain things .Yes on the Giant boards I'm on we have discussions with Redskin fans about Redskin players and about other teams players also and signings so I didn't think it was that big of a deal.Being a member of the NFC East I did think it was news worthy that the Giants sign their franchised player early instead of letting things go as they have done in the past.Many a time there is a thread about an Eagle ,Giant or Cowboy on these boards.On the Giants boards right now there is discussion about Haynsworth and the Redskins..................a move like that will impact the NFC East one way or another, so yup it's news worthy.
