Re: Hall of Fame 2009 Nominee List
Surprised not to see Dave Butz anywhere on that list.
And if you go by numbers alone, Gary Clark deserves to be in -- especially when you consider the paltry numbers of Lynn Swann. |
Re: Hall of Fame 2009 Nominee List
Still no sign of Chris Hanburger. :pffff:

Re: Hall of Fame 2009 Nominee List
ray guy should have been in years ago.he was'nt the only punter in history to ever be drafted in the first round for nothing.BM deserves it too.chris carter deserves it,but he is such an asshole,i hope he has to wait awhile.it will be worth seeing him throw a tantrum on it on espn.
A case could be made for him. He's a 5 time Pro Bowl player and his stats are pretty solid. In his prime he was one of the better players at his position. I doubt he would get in but his resume is quietly better than some might realize.
How about Ken Harvey? 89 career sacks vs 40 for Armstead. Tackles similar. They played in different systems but were comparable in value I would think. Harvey is a 4 time probowler. As we all know, PB's are alot of name and who you play for. |
