PORTIS -- however our D is now officially deserving of some serious props -- we are a top 5 defense no doubt about it .. all I ever hear is how good everyone else is, well what about the freaking skins' ... i mean we stop them 7 times out of 8 at the 3 yard line .. are you kidding me ... HB Blades deserves a nod too, one of those goal line stands he might a lights out hit .. HAIL -- now let's beat the piss out the lions next week .. we need to stomp them by 4 touchdowns !

There is no denying that the amazing Portis carried the offense today.

But the defense won the game and London was everywhere. I vote Fletch.

Fletcher was all over the place, so I gave it to him... with Carlos a very close second. I'm all about our D this season.

I had to give it to London Fletcher. He was all over the field today and he's clearly the heart of our defense. I would've giving it to Portis if it wasn't for that damn fumble that nearly cost us the game.

That play was more a great defensive play by CB Eric Wright of the Browns rather than being a poor play by Portis. Portis was getting ready for the hit from a linebacker coming in from his left side.

Portis easily. If we had a separate Defensive MVP, it would be Fletcher who had a great game, but you can't vote against 175 yards and a TD.

Buster, I did...and while Portis looks like a running back possessed, I went with Fletcher. 12 tackles (7 solo), including a huge flying stop on the Browns 1st 4th quarter goalline set. The defense set the tone yesterday, and they were led by #59.

The Skins defense is not getting the headlines because they don't get the sexy defensive stats (interceptions, fumble recoveries and sacks). All they do is shut down the opposing teams running game and passing game. Look at the quarterbacks and running backs they have faced and kept under wraps. These are some of the best players in the league. Impressive stats.

I'm gonna go with Rogers, Fletcher, Blache and the entire D. They woulda had my game ball last week but Torrence f*@%ed it up.

Portis was a beast but it's time our D gets some props. They are the reason we didn't lose the last 2 games.
