Lets hope that Snyder's tactics pay off. We will know come next season.

Re: Darrell Green's blog
This is a good post. You have to respect a Hall of Fame (tomorrow) player’s experience, and therefore his opinion.
It’s good to know Darrell Green thinks this unconventional process can result in a winning coaching staff. I’ll never see behind the veil; that is, sit down to dinner with Daniel Snyder and hear him expound upon his vision. But, even from the cheap seats, one thing is sure: Snyder is not sure. If Jim Fassel was Snyder’s confident choice, he’d be at work right now at Redskins Park. Because Snyder thinks he can do better, the Skins still have no coach. At the three-week mark, it’s unlikely Snyder will pull a rabbit out of his hat (Pete Carroll?) as he did four years ago with Joe Gibbs. Will Steve Mariucci measure up? Time will tell, but the longer the process goes the more evident it becomes that the next Redskins head coach will be a consolation choice. |

Good thoughts and I would tend to agree with you about the HC. If Fassel was the guy he would already be in Ashburn. |
