Billick is a pretentious, overblown, ego-bloated prick. Remember this line: "I know Quarterbacks. Trust me". He said this after signing....[I]cough, cough...[I]Scott Mitchell. What a dick.
We should absolutely hire him immediately.

To follow Coach Gibbs around and see how a class act handles himself.
lol - wouldnt that be a typical skins offseason move.

You are exactly right, he's a DOUCHE!! Anyone blowing kisses to an opponents player, doesn't command any respect; especially when you are considered the COACH. Even Pastabelli wrote about this.

Pasquarelli: Infamous Words

Brian Billick claimed that he knew quarterbacks, but he spent nine seasons as Baltimore's head coach proving exactly the opposite, writes Len Pasquarelli.

i thought the expensive contract he had would buy him another year.

Brian B. never had a top 10 offense the whole time he was in Balt. This was a long time coming. George Michael just said that some of the players actually went to the owner and said he has totally lost the team. His own players turned on him! He had it coming. That dickhead always thinks he's smarter than everyone.

Must be nice to get fired and have 15 mil coming to you. That's not so bad.

Not surprising. Ray "The Slasher" Lewis could be a better player/coach for the Ravens.

He's a good coach. He wont stay unemployed too long.

Couldn't have come soon enough imho. The Ravens won a super bowl despite having Billick as head coach and quite honestly I thought that Marvin Lewis' defense and the play of the special teams got them the trophy. And his reputation as an offensive guru? I think any of us here would have earned that title with Culpepper at QB tossing to Moss, Carter, and Reed all day long.
he just put so much trust into his qbs, this was inevitable!!!anybody think that cowher maybe intrested in this job???
Absolutely no chance on Cowher coming back in 08. It will be at least 09, possibly 2010. My guess is, unfortunately, Saunders gets another crack at HC there and Collins follows as the starter grooming their first round pick (Brohm?). I think they go with an offensive minded coach to rebuild since the defense is getting old. Singletary and Rex Ryan would be great, but I really think they want an offense to build from ground.

I personally could care-less what happens in B-more, but I think he did a very good job there. His team went 5-11 after going what 13-3? The team had a ton of injuries to some key guys this year. Hell, we went 5-11 last year and look where we are now. I'm just greatful to have the coaches we have now, especially all things considered. Man Hollywood should seriously do a film about this years' team.

This is no surprise to me. I watched that Miami / Baltimore game, and he lost it at the end of the game. He made poor decisions and should have gone for it with 12 seconds left, but didn't. The players were seen yelling at him and he yelled back that he's the coach...I knew right there he was out.
