I have been singing this guy's praises for a couple of weeks now. Down this stretch he's been as solid as any corner playing the game.... Dude definitely deserves props.

To have a good defense on the nfl level, there needs to be at least two good starting corners on a team. I say that the redskins have a great defense. The defense wasn't as good with Rogers starting.

And obviously Springs is playing his ass off. Smoot plays pretty solid, but rarely makes big plays nowadays. Rogers is a below average to average corner and I can't remember him making a big play outside of garbage time. I hate to say it, but I have to call it like I see. I was hoping for Rogers like I was hoping for Archuletta, Lloyd, and a few others. The redskins need to look to upgrade at corner soon - depending on how Springs feels. Springs plays with the best of them when he is healthy though.

springs has been a shut down corner for us, but only when he's healthy (which has been the story of his career). smoot can play well hurt, springs usually can't.

I think shawn springs has proven these last couple of weeks he's still the man. I know a lot of u guys like Smooth personally cuz he's loud and goofy. But Springs is playing on a Champ Baily-esque level right now. I dont think there is a CB in the league that is playing better right now.

Imagine our line up without SPrings...

Springs is a great CB and has played great for most of his skins career. Last year he played hurt and it hurt the defense tremendously.

He's really played well and its the best i've seen him so far. SS seems like a good guy and its good to see.

Smoot isn't the best corner in the world. He's a decent corner but he does other things well and seems to fit into GW defense.
