Re: Skins/Lions game ball
I think that was one of the best overall performances we've seen from the D in the Gregg Williams era.
The #1 passing team in the league held to 76 net yards passing? That's disgusting. |
Re: Skins/Lions game ball
I had to go with JC. Big Mike close second, real close. But JC...stats aside, on both touchdown throws and the two point conv., JC showed he's becoming a playmaker. And how about the 4 and 2....cool as a cucumber.
In a week where JC had his best game, the rest of the Young Guns seemed to be very average. |
I loved the seam pass to Sellers. That was a thing of beauty!
Who needs a second receiver? Just send the fullback deep!

Although some weeks his refusal to adjust his gameplan kills us, he really took away Kitna's bread and butter. The Lions are super unbalanced on offense, and we just didn't allow receivers to run free in space. Consequently Kitna made bad decisions all day, and the pressure wasnt bad either. |
Re: Skins/Lions game ball
Held that offense to just three points. Way to go D.

Re: Skins/Lions game ball
Big step for Jason, it's his! If there were two (WHICH THERE ARE, IN MY BOOK)) the D would get the second they played GREAT!

Re: Skins/Lions game ball
Big Mike gets mine.
He was just all over the place, blocking, running, catching, etc. He's such an underrated weapon on our offense.
Campbell has to get it. Sellers is the man but Jason got us that win. |
Re: Skins/Lions game ball
I said the "D." If I could give two, the second goes to JC. Even though it was a crappy Lions D, he didnt have his top 2 WR for half the game, and still played great. Sellers is a close third as well. What a Manimal!!

Hmmm, I think it's a toss-up between that performance and the Dallas-Redskins game in Week 15 of the 2005 season. Daniels was molesting Dallas' backup LT. |
Re: Skins/Lions game ball
Sellers. He's such a badass and it shows. Also Carlos should get one for the way he jumped that route and shimmied into the end zone. That was f*&king beautiful.

Re: Skins/Lions game ball
Jason Campbell did great, but Mike Sellers came out of no where and had a great 2 td game, have to give him the game ball.

Re: Skins/Lions game ball
we have our new riggo in sellers

Re: Skins/Lions game ball
Absolutely shut down the #1 pass attack in the NFC. Silenced it. Made the crucial momentum play with the safety (great game for Carter!). And then iced the game with two INTs, including the dagger redemption TD for Carlos. All done with a 4 man rush by a much maligned pass rushing D line.
No question. The D.
Detroit had the #1 passing attack in the NFC? I wonder if the Skins will be able to do the same against the Cowchips? My game ball goes to Campbell -- I think he effectively silenced the critics of his short-to-intermediate passing game. |
