Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
The Bucs are the new Redskins, spending wildly on all the big names.
Raheem Morris must be pissed. "Where was all of this when I was there?" |

Raheem Morris must be pissed. "Where was all of this when I was there?"[/quote] Wrong place. Wrong time. He had the "restricted FA" to deal with his first year, and the lockout to deal with his second. Thems the breaks. Right now, I"m still trying to wrap my head around paying a WR 19mil/year. I don't care WHO it is...lol |

Mario Williams picks up his fiance from the airport in buffalo...'this could be our new home'...looks like him to buffalo is almost a done deal

Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
It really amazes me that anyone would want to go to Buffalo. Obviously he doesn't have to live there year round, but still. Buffalo NY? Really?

If they were going to make you the highest paid defensive player in the league you would. |

For a little less money I'd look elsewhere. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
It's not that bad, he'll only have to play between 4 and 6 games in really bad Buffalo weather. Gets to travel to Miami once in the winter to offset one of the home games.
For his salary, he should be willing to play anywhere in any elements. Still, from Houston to Buffalo...big shock to the system. |

Looks like John Carlson is heading to Minnesota

Just from a pure demographic/cultural perspective, Buffalo is definitely at a big "competitive disadvantage". Good for them though, they seem to be moving in the right direction. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
Brandon Lloyd visiting with SF. He played well for them, a ton of highlight-reel catches. THAT'S WHY WE SIGNED HIM...and he proceeded to forget how to play, until he left us and he's suddenly good again.

Him and Carlos Rogers smoke from the same bong. |
Re: 2012 NFL Free Agency Tracker
The good thing about the cornerbacks going off the market is that Dallas has had Carr there all yesterday and this morning, and I can just see his price tag going up and up (since Dallas is intent on signing him, this only makes them more cap strapped elsewhere - also hate that I am forced to have some sympathy with them due to the NFL's stupidity)
The cowboys board has been saying its a done deal for the past 20 hours even as his price ticked up hour by hour. |

No. Brandon Lloyd went to Chicago and didn't do anything either. BL didn't start playing until he realized his career (and money) were on the line and it was his last shot. This has nothing to do with our organization as to why he failed, but more to he failing because he decided to tank it after getting paid. |

Kyle Orton to Dallas on a 3 year deal
