I think this is probably more of a business move than anything else. Can't imagine GB would let him go that easily. Meaning I think they're trying to save some money at this moment, but they will bring him back

But if they don't...give me Hawk over Blades 8 out of 7 days (yes I said 8 out of 7)

Wasn't Hawk holding out or disgruntled during last seasons training camp? I really thought it was ironic that he is so unhappy about 3-4 or with the team and they go on to win a SB. Just be a team player, do your job your paid for.

Wow. That would be a dream -- AJ Hawk would get us closer to a good 3-4 LB core. Orakpo, Hawk, Fletcher.. Of course with Fletch, our average age is still around 40.. ;)

Don't analysts say AJ Hawk isn't that great of an ILB in the 3-4? I'm sure he'd prefer to stay in GB or play in 4-3 defensive team that needs an OLB like the Vikes, Bears or Lions, Saints, Broncos, to name a few.

Vikings have signed Rice to a 1st round tender. Some uncertainty as to whether he's eligible. Depends on how the CBA shakes out

Laura Hawk, Brady Quinn's sister. They all grew up in Ohio. Some might remember the half ND half "The" OSU jersey at the 06 Fiesta Bowl.

I thought he was going to be a free agent? Dunno why is the media acting like he wasn't going to stay with Minny. I guess someone could trade for him.
