Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
It's too early. But Vince Yong won ROY too. lol.....I'm just sayin'
It's reasonable to have some concerns about his long term potential. It's unreasonable to interpret that as "giving up on him". |

Very well said..... Needed to be said..... |
Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
I have no doubt that with the right grooming Griffin could be one of the best QBs in the league.
Second year player coming off major injury. Team overall needs a lot of help. Too early to pull the plug on RG3. Funny how last year he was the franchise savior now this year people are ready to throw him out of town.
Those same people would be crying bloody murder if we hadn't made the trade to draft him. They would be remembering last year and all the potential they saw in RG3 and they would be making more negative noise then they are now. If he would have had a difficult 2nd year on whatever other team drafted him, they would attribute it to being on a bad team, or normal sophomore struggles, or missing an all-important offseason, or some other legitimate reason. But no, since he's on our team, he's immediately a bust and not worth the price. I agree with 30gut. With good coaching and more experience, he will be an elite quarterback. |

Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
Is putting Cousins in going to make our special teams better, or our defense? IF so.. Than i'm all for it.
Teams don't even kick the ball out of the endzone now because they KNOW we can't run it back past the 20. |
Re: Do You Unequivocally Believe RG3 Is Our Franchise QB?
Maybe Cousins can play.....interior line?

Cousins is codename for Baugh. Just play him in any position. |

There is only one elite QB on this entire list... and his name is RG3. And it's not even close. Is RG a sure thing? Of course not. But how 'bout we give the kid some time to heal and learn? He's 23 years old for christ sake. We've waited 27 years for this kid. Patience gentlemen...patience. |

To be a straight up bust at RG's talent level, laziness and lack of character has to be part of the equation. There's nothing about RG that indicates either. He needs pass protection, another downfield target or two and pro level coaching on the sidelines. Snyder and BA need to get their butts in gear tho. Time's a wastin |

The Redskins just gave up on em too early or bought em in too late. That could be said for several current and former NFL players though. Groovy. :( |

Matt McGloin can read NFL defenses. Lol

He's making plays with Defensive linemen in his face and his receivers have no "separation". Blaming poor play on pass protection and receivers not getting open is a joke. |
