Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Carr would make this team a playoff team in the NFC. Brady retired. Even if Rodgers goes back to GB it is a weaker team than they were this year (will still runaway with that division). The Rams will have regression to the mean. Cupp isn't going to have a career year over and over. SF is solid but flawed. The Cowboys have their own cap issues.

I was reading that the radiers want Wilson. We would be able to get carr.

Carr would be the best QB in our division

Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Not sold on Carr at all.

No, he wouldn't be. Much as I dislike the Cowboys they have a franchise QB. |

He's won 1 of 4 playoff games in his career. You good stretch to saying he's a franchise QB, and best in division right now. But given the talent around him I wouldn't peg him above Carr right now, and I'd rather see them play in the same division for a season before saying Dak was best. I don't think Carr is coming here, but if he does, I for one would be happy we had one of the 2 best QB's in the division. |

Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
If we got Carr or Wilson, and Samuel is healthy, we're winning the division in 2022.
I doubt we get either, but Samuel needs to play. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt that for whatever reason, this just wasn't his year. In general, I just don't see Raiders ditching Carr. Teams don't usually get rid of top 10-15 QBs. |

He’s a choker, watched him for years. Rather have Garoppolo for less (he’s a choker too). |
Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
So here is where we are for QBs so far:
Aaron Rodgers-choker DeShaun Watson-bad optics for a team in front of congress for sexual abuse to bring in a QB with 22 women accusing him of sexual abuse Derek Carr-Choker Jimmy Garoppolo-He's bad Russell Wilson-This seems to be the general Commanders Post favorite Draft a QB-Bad Batch Mitch Trubisky-Not enough alcohol to numb the pain IMO every single one of them probably makes us a better offense that what we had last season. Even Mitch. |
Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Everyone on that list is a improvement including Trubisky !!

Yep, that's where we're at. Do literally anything at QB and this is a better team. Just like they would have been had Fitz remained healthy all season. The course of action I would prefer is to bring in a Veteran free agent QB, and then draft the best QB on the board at 11. |
Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Trubisky ? No. Lol
|
Re: 2022 off season thread part 1
Yeah Trubisky is awful. Signing him is literally just changing names on a jersey.
