I want to play devil's advocate here. What if KOC disagree with Riveria's coaching/teaching strategies in general? Should Riveria still keep KOC, just for sake of the continuity?
guys even thou koc seemed good we don,t know how good or bad he was , if he was that darn good at the beginning then why didn,t he call plays when gruden was here ,lets see what turner does because are off. stunk for many reasons and play calling was one of it i was not impressed with koc
Marty Hurney may be the favorite to land the GM Job after the draft per The Athletic... Hurney is currently the Panthers GM.

Washington Panthers lol
Panthers fans are ready to help him pack his bags. He's not well liked there. Just comparing drafts, Kyle Smith has done far better the past 3 years. If Hurney were brought in and replaced Smith as our draft-guru, I'd be extremely disappointed and less optimistic that Rivera is truly bringing in the best people and instead just bringing his less-talented friends. If we want to bring in someone from the outside instead of elevating Smith, it should be someone with a proven record of success.

Cam thinks very highly of Turner. Got to count for something.

The #Redskins and Senior VP of Football Operations and General Counsel Eric Schaffer have agreed to mutually part ways now instead of May, source said. He’s a respected front office executive who already has interest from several other teams.

With FA around the corner maybe Schneed can offer his services for a few months.

Rap reported that the frontrunner is... surprise... Panthers executive Director of Finance Rob Rogers.

The Redskins have hired Rob Rogers who had been with Ron Rivera in Carolina as their main salary cap expert and also dealt with analytics. The Redskins parted ways with long time cap guru Eric Schaffer today. es.pn/35E9yXt

I hope not, but got a feeling Smith would be replaced after KOC and Schaeffer were replaced with his Panther homies. Smith is the one guy they can’t afford to lose. I didn’t know Hurney went to Wheaton HS and worked for the Redskins back in 1988-1989 under Bobby B. doing PR.

Doug Williams remains with the team, per Ben Standig.

I think JP had said before that Kyle and Doug were safe.

Good. Backs have produced since he has been here. I am good with AP as the bell cow next year until Guice proves durable. Love Guice, but the one ability he has not shown is availability.

I really hope so for Kyle Smith's sake. I'm just not impressed with Hurney at all as GM. I would really have to start questioning Riverboat Ron if he made a move like that.

On the flip side as much as I like Kyle Smith as a talent evaluator, I feel the opposite way about Doug Williams. What kind of football man doesn't take into account a player's strengths and compatibility with a scheme before giving him 84 million dollars? It boggles the mind.

Also, while I think there were many back channels for information, it looks like there may be fewer information leaks now that Schaeffer is gone. Comments on twitter are that he was very "media friendly" and was a good source for information about team happenings.

Don't know if it's true or, if so, how "leaky" he was, but it was more than one or two random comments.
