Here is where Callahan needs to live up to his billing. Sounds like the guy is a player. We know Trent and Nsehke can play together. It's up to Callahan to glue them together properly. |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Best case I think is one of those Alabama secondary guys to fall heavily to us

Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Nsekhe at guard is weak shit period. Get a guard

I happen to agree with you too! |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Morgan Moses is more likely a better guard than neske

Can't help that a lot of the top guards went at the top of the 2nd round. You get what you can get, where the picks fall. |
He fell unexpectedly, genius. I'm a fan, not a detective. He is a first round talent, so that would not have been a reach.
If you aren't a GM, how do you know he's a 1st round talent? Hell, even ESPN had him ranked 4th at the RB position. A lot of it probably comes down to work ethic and character. He may be lacking in one or the other or even both. |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
there goes Mark Andrews.

What a fucking draft!

Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
Guice reminds me of CP, same size build and run and block angry. Good not great speed but can catch the ball. All of the sudden our RB trio (perine and CT included) looks damn good

I'd get Portis to take him under his wings. |
Re: Day 2 thread: rounds 2-3
G Christian, good pick for the long view. Nsekhe will finally be a free agent after playing out his final restricted year. He has a good reputation, and being 31 he will look for a money grab in free agency next year because it will be his last chance, and with Trent and Moses here he will have to go elsewhere.
We’ll get a compensatory pick in 2020 after he leaves in 2019. Meanwhile we will need a swing tackle - a very very important position. If Nsekhe works well at guard this year then that’s gravy in my mind. I still expect the Skins to make a move at G somehow, independent of this Christian pick. I am happy to have depth at one of the most important positions on the field. |
