KC sucks ass. Cannot play in a dome. Every loss we had while he was here was his responsibility based on either poor play or a lack of leadership.
He was terrible in the Detroit game and the loss was all his fault.
Im sorry I accused you of having no conviction and taking the middle of the road safe place. [emoji23] |
Ask C-Red. Lol. I made the mistake of looking into a peculiar stat he threw out there. It is the first and last time i look into peculiar stats. Trust me.
That made me laugh out loud. I do trust you. Back to Alex Smith -- I am excited to see what he can bring to the offense. He's also a real quality individual -- someone who seems likely to have a better chance to lead the team than Cousins, if only because of the drama that had begun to blow up around the annual question of a long term deal and whether he was appreciated by Snyder/Allen/Gruden. I wish the guy well, but he's no longer my QB. I think Alex Smith is poised to have a strong year and prove everyone he isn't too conservative. His O line will be better than what he had in KC, although some of the skills players around him are still unproven. But I am excited about the potential of some of our newer players, and the D could be much improved if we can get one of our CBs to perform as well (or nearly as well) as Breeland. |
Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
And our run game - im not sure if im overhyping Guice or not. I just think he is going to play with a chip on his shoulder since so many teams passed on him so many times. Plus it will not be tough to be better than what we have had since Portis.
Oh God. If there is one former quarterback who should never be mentioned by name again it is him. I don’t think he ever completed a pass for over 4 yards. Actually I don’t think he ever attempted a pass for over four yards. That was probably the most trying time to be a Skins fan.
Which was 2 seasons after I became a Skins fan... talk about testing your love early in a relationship! Can only go up from there! |

Running some numbers on dome vs. outside games
Passing numbers absolutely inflated in domes/retractable roof stadiums Since 2001, Passer rating in dome/retractable: 86.5 Passer rating outdoors: 80.7 #PFF |

Would be more interested in road games in dome where noise is a factor. Can you do that? Im terrible at stat figure outing. Lol Anyway id imagine for a home quarterback it is a definite advantage because of the lack of wind rain snow etc. |

Interesting stat on percentage of drives (excluding kneel downs) that led to scoring: AS - 6th at 46.9% KC - 22nd at 33% Obviously a stat dependent on teammates but still interesting. |

Or is it just that Home is an advantage? Is this spread in passer rating any different for teams who play in outdoor stadiums? We're officially off the rails. |

Re: ALEX SMITH and moving forward.
Last post I'll do on Kirks overall game, this is his RZ %s. kirk's biggest area of needed improvement is the RZ. He ranked in the bottom half of the league in RZ completion %. Alex Smith? He was in the top 10.
